Emily asked what she’s doing. She just took out the trash. Emily does that on Wednesday. Her trash runs on Thursday. Emily asked if she has to separate the recycling. No. Emily said it’s that way for her too.
Ambria told Emily she beat the Mario game. Emily tried to think of the name of the game. Ambria reminded her. Ambria told her she hasn’t finished it – she still has 25 shines to get – but she beat the final boss. Emily asked what happens. They don’t expect you to keep playing. The town floods before the boss. Ambria isn’t sure why. After you beat the boss, the flooding goes away. Emily asked if the sun comes out and blinds you. Ambria said it does get brighter as it gets shines. Emily said she has never beaten a game. Emily asked if she will collect the other shines. Yes. Emily is glad it’s optional.
Ambria said in-person learning is back on Monday. Emily asked if she’s still going to do remote. Yes. Emily said since school is almost out, she may as well stay where she’s at.
Ambria told her it got to 72 yesterday. Emily asked what she did. Sat on the balcony and went to Starbucks. Emily asked what she get. Caramel frappucino. Emily didn’t hear and asked her to repeat. Emily asked if it was good and if she got the whipped topping and “the crunchy stuff on top.”
Emily said, “So, for your spring break, you beat the Mario game.” Yes. Emily asked if she’s done more drawing. She started one but hasn’t finished it. She’s working on a villain version of Deku. Emily said that would be interesting.
Emily asked if she’s talked to McKenzie over Spring Break. Ambria sent her a drawing she did. Emily asked what she drew. It was one she had already drawn.
Emily said the cat fell off the coffee maker and made a noise.
Emily asked if McKenzie watches the show. No, it’s hard for her to watch since it’s not on Netflix. Emily said maybe she will “when you guys are 50.”
Ambria asked how Reda is. She’s using a different cane. Emily got her one with four feet. Medicare got her one called a “quad cane.” She has a walker but can’t use it because she only has one strong arm. Emily said her swallowing is better. She can take medicine better than she could before therapy.
Emily asked if she’s doing anything this weekend. Ambria is going on a walk. Emily asked if we walk a couple of miles. Just around the neighborhood. Emily said it was cooler there yesterday. She liked it, but she didn’t like the rain.
Emily got a basil plant from Trader Joe’s. It was crowded yesterday. She said it looks really healthy, but “we’ll see what happens when (she) gets a hold of it.” She’s going to make a lasagna soup.
Ambria told her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she wants to go. They ended the call at April 17, 2021 9:09 AM.
