Emily’s voice was very muffled. She is outside in the yard. It’s about 65. Ambria said it’s 60 here. Emily said they were “almost weather twins.”
Emily is putting up her hummingbird feeder tomorrow. She’s put some kind of weather sealant on it, and it’s drying.
A dog was barking. Emily asked how loud it was. Ambria told her she could hear it.
Emily asked what she’s doing on Spring Break. Ambria showed her drawings. She showed the Kiroshima first. Emily complimented her shading. She asked about the lines in the background. Ambria told her how she did it. Emily asked if it was hard to “use all the different colors and get it blended.” Ambria showed her the new character. Emily asked who it is. Ambria told her she made it up. Emily said it looks like her and she thought it was a self-portrait. Emily commented that it looked like her crossed with Avril Lavigne.
Emily asked how she knew how to do the hair. Ambria looked at other examples and took inspirations from them. Ambria showed her the swatches she’s going to use for the rest of the colors. Emily said she “really has this planned out, huh?” Ambria said she is proud of it. Emily said she would too and it’s “real good.” Emily asked if the character will have a name. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily said she’s not good at coming up with them and won’t be any help.
Emily commented that Ambria had repainted her nails. She asked if the color was lilac. It’s a little grayer than Ambria wanted, but it’s good.
Ambria told her it’s going to be in the 70s soon. Emily asked if she’ll go for a walk. Ambria will probably sit outside. Emily likes to be outside too.
Emily said she saw a gecko for the first time yesterday. Emily said the ones you see at the pet store are “peach-colored.” Emily said she could Google and see them. It tried to come in. It was “on the inside of the door.”
Emily asked if she’s been to Starbucks this week. Yes. Emily asked if she got her usual order. Today, yes. Yesterday she got something she’s forgotten. A dog started barking. Ambria remembered it was a cookie crumble frappucino. Emily said she liked it and asked if it was a little sweet. Yes. Ambria said it was frozen at the bottom. Emily likes the caramel ribbon something.
Emily said she isn’t going to Panera and makes her own cold brew at the house. She got some Dunkin cold coffee packs from the store. She likes making it at home better.
A bird called out. Emily said it was yelling at her.
Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. They put the electrode on her face muscles to try to strengthen them. She thinks Reda is still swallowing OK. They didn’t mention it.
Emily said she’d need to show her more drawings on Friday including her finished “Ambril.” Ambria thinks she will be done by then. Emily said it “looks really good though.” Emily said she would be really proud of it. She can’t wait to see it shaded in.
Emily said she was going to go inside “before a bird eats (her).”
