Emily said good morning. There was a lot of echo. She said the dog sneezed as she spoke. She asked if Ambria had a breakfast. Emily said she was having a salad and was going to put the phone down. The salad is mostly spinach, almonds, and cranberry.
Emily’s connection quality was poor and the call dropped out for a few seconds. She said she would see if she was connected to the internet and she was.
Emily asked if she’s been to Starbucks. Not yet. Emily asked if she will. Probably later in the week. Emily told her about the Earth Day game they’re doing right now that is like Tetris. She told her you can get free food and drinks for playing.
Emily thinks “the cat was in that salad earlier.” Ambria laughed.
Ambria asked if she showed Emily the drawing. Emily said she showed a drawing of “what’s his name.” “Kiroshima?” That was him. Ambria asked if she had inked the outline. Yes. Ambria showed her the coloring progress. Emily asked how long it took. Ambria said it took a lot longer than she thought. 2 hours to draw and outline and another 1.5-2 hours for the coloring she’s done so far. Emily asked if she blends the colors. Ambria said it doesn’t work to blend two colors together but you have to use the colorless blender to make it “look smooth.” Emily said it sounds like she’s “doing good with them.”
Emily asked if she could think of anything else she needs. Ambria thought of something a few days ago but can’t remember. Emily said OK. Ambria will let her know if she thinks of it.
Emily asked if she still talks to McKenzie. Ambria hasn’t in a while. Emily asked if she still goes to school in Seattle. No. Ambria doesn’t know where she goes to school. Emily asked if she will get to see her over spring break. Ambria doesn’t know if they are on break at the same time. Emily asked if she will go to the beach. There are a lot of hills on the walk. Emily asked if she can take the bus. Ambria told her we’re not taking the bus. Emily said maybe in a few weeks she can go somewhere.
Ambria told her we have a p-patch on the roof. Emily asked what we’re going to do with it. We have plants and decorations. Emily asked what plants we have. Ambria said there are a lot of herbs. Emily said she hasn’t done her herbs. Emily is going to do tomatoes in her planter box. Emily said she had too much mint last time. She made a lot of pesto and got tired of it.
Ambria told her she moved her succulents to her pots. Emily’s are in the back of her room. ____ Z plant and a ficus.
Emily has to give the dog a bath today. She said it’s 50-55. She said it “feels pretty good.” “This would be a good day for yard work, but I don’t have any yard work to do.” Ambria told her it’s in the 40s today but it is getting warmer and will be in the high 60s next week.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said OK and said she likes Ambria’s shirt. She also commented on Ambria’s nails which are black and red. Ambria said she wants to do light purple next.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she will tell Reda what Ambria said if she talks to her. Emily said she hopes Ambria enjoys her spring break. They ended the call at April 10, 2021 9:09 AM.
