Emily asked how she’s doing. She said, “OK.” Birds started chirping. Emily explained that she is outside. Emily said she watched a couple of episodes of Ouran. She said it’s “kinda awkward” as of episode 3. Emily asked if it gets worse. Yes, but Ambria still likes it. Emily described what she has watched so far.
Emily said she’s about to eat at Red Robin. She hasn’t eaten there in almost a year. She stopped just after the pandemic started. She said, “We’ll see.”
Emily told her she has a pretty necklace. She asked if it’s the one she got her. Yes.
Ambria isn’t talking much. She just received news that her friend may have died.
Emily said it’s warm out. The wind started blowing into the phone. Ambria said it’s cloudy and in the 40s. Emily said she’s half way to 80. Emily would give her 20 and they’d meet in the middle.
Emily asked how school is going. The same. They finished another unit in science. Next Tuesday, they have their next math test. They have a French test next Thursday. Emily asked what she’s learning in Science. They just learned about ethanol and what happens with the molecules when you light it on fire. Emily said Ambria is ahead of her. She just knows it lights on fire. Ambria said she only knows about the molecules.
Emily asked what she’s doing in math. Yesterday’s lesson was about a kind of problem she described. She doesn’t know the name of it. Emily said it sounds confusing. Ambria said there are a lot of steps.
Emily said her shirt was pretty. She couldn’t tell if it is gray or blue. It’s gray.
Emily asked if she’s drawn any this week. She’s been working on one since the weekend. She thinks she already showed it to Emily. Emily reminded her she’s shown the bird and some mini ones she did. Ambria asked if she showed the new pictures she printed to start. Emily said she did. Emily asked if she will ever sell her art or anything like that. Ambria might if she gets good enough to not just copy stuff. Emily said “that would be a good start.” Emily asked what other things she likes to draw. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily said she’ll figure it out.
Emily told her Reda is “doing good.” Her lab work came back good. Cholesterol, white blood cells, platelets… She had an appointment on Friday. Emily hasn’t heard back, so she assumes it went well. She hasn’t fallen as far as Emily knows. She thinks Reda is “pretty cautious” and “uses her chair quite a bit.”
Ambria told Emily to tell her hi and she loves her if Emily talks to her. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she would talk to her on Saturday. They ended the call March 24, 2021 3:33 PM.
