Emily asked if she’s been to Starbucks. She went on Thursday. Emily asked if we have a place called Dutch Brothers. Ambria doesn’t think so. Emily said they are in LA and LV. She said they are supposed to have really good iced coffee.

Emily showed her the new cat and asked Ambria if she has changed. Emily thinks the face is darker. Ambria said her legs are longer. Emily said she doesn’t like being held anymore. Emily showed her the dog too.

Emily asked if she’s done more drawing. No, she’s had too much homework but wants to try this weekend. Emily asked which character. Ambria had thought of one but forgot which. Emily asked who the other girl was that she draws. Ambria guessed Toga. It wasn’t her. Emily said Ambria had been working on her face. Ambria guessed Momo. Emily said that was the one.

Emily asked if she’s played her Mario game. Ambria has 65 shines. Emily asked if there were 96. Yes.

Emily asked what homework she had this week and guessed math. No math but language arts and history mostly. Emily asked if they’re reading a book in language arts. Yes. Emily asked which. The Sound of Waves. Emily asked if it’s good. Ambria’s only one chapter in. Emiy said to let her know.

Emily asked about science. They just started a new unit and she doesn’t know yet. Emily asked about a partner project in history. They finished a long time ago. Emily asked if the partner did her part. She tried but had internet problems. Ambria said it was OK. Her partner couldn’t get into the meetings. Ambria didn’t have any problems. They had a few meetings but not all they were supposed to.

Ambria told her she got a 98 on her math test. Emily guessed she missed one. Ambria said they have a new way of doing test corrections. Ambria said they used to go through, redo, and explain what they did wrong. Now the software gives them replacement problems to try for those they missed. Emily asked if its an app and if it’s automated. Yes, it’s a web site. Emily asked if it was Schoology. No, it’s different.

Emily said her nose is running. The dog is having a bath today. The dog doesn’t like it and understands the word. Ambria asked if she got cold. Yes, and Emily has to use the hair dryer. Ambria thought that was funny. Emily has to brush her after that so her hair doesn’t knot up. Emily showed her hair. Emily said she take benedryl.

Emily said she wonders how Ambria’s cats are doing. She hopes they’re OK. Ambria agrees. Emily thinks they’re larger.

Ambria asked if she’s heard about Reda. No. Emily thinks she’s doing therapy for eating and drinking. They’re just observing her. They put electrodes on her throat to make the muscles move. That’s supposed to help her. She was taking therapy “on her arm.” Emily thinks they stopped that. She had a blood test. Emily doesn’t know the results. They took her off her cholesterol medicines. Emily doesn’t know why. They did blood work “just to be doing it.” Emily asked if Ambria is OK having her blood taken. Emily remembers resisting when she had to have it done.

Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she needs to go. Emily started talking about the weather. She said she would talk to her on Wednesday. They ended the call at March 6, 2021 9:11 AM.
