Emily said Ambria was bundled up and said she was trying to stay warm too. Emily asked her to guess how cold it is. It feels like 6 but it’s 20. Ambria told her we have a winter storm warning and it’s snowing here.
Emily asked if she got a package last Saturday. Ambria asked if it was the tea. Yes. Ambria said she got it and thanked her. Emily said she can drink as much as her belly can handle. Ambria said she is drinking it slower. Emily asked if she got two cans. Yes. Emily said to let her know if she wants more or wants to try a different kind.
Emily said she tried the Lady Gaga Oreos. She said they aren’t good. She described them. She recommends Ambria not try them. Emily said she follows someone who features snacks and fast food.
Ambria said her mid-winter break is this week. Emily said it’s a good time for it since it’s winter outside. Emily asked if she’s off Monday through Wednesday. She’s off all week. Emily said she can play her game.
Emily asked how many shines she’s caught. She then asked if you catch them. Ambria said you collect them. Ambria said she has 48. Emily asked if she has her homework done. They gave her some over the break. Emily said that wasn’t fair. Ambria laughed.
Emily asked how yoga has been going. Good. Emily asked if she followed along with the video the teacher uploaded. Yes. Emily asked if she does actual yoga moves. Emily asked if she volunteers to be the assistant when the teacher is out. Since she doesn’t really teach it, it doesn’t matter. Emily remembered that she is a coach and asked what she coaches. Volleyball. Emily said she doesn’t like it.
Emily asked if the pen pals have been sorted out. They just finished their letters. Emily asked for the “gist” of hers. Ambria said she told that she likes to watch anime, play video games, cooking cake and cookies (because those are the only things she knows how to say in French), roller skate, draw… She said her favorite color is red. Emily asked if she told the state she lives in. No, they already know that. They’re sending them to their sister school in France. Emily said that’s neat. She’s excited for Ambria to get her first letter. Emily never had a pen pal. She used to write her cousin. She did that for about a year.
Ambria said she drew more stuff. Emily asked what she drew. She tried to draw Todoroki (from My Hero Academia), but he looks fat. She showed her mom. Emily said he looks good. Ambria showed her Dobby and said he looks creepy because she hasn’t done the hair. She showed a Toga she drew. Emliy said the mouth was “true to form.” Ambria said she thought it turned out good. Emily asked if she’s tracing. With these, she’s just using pictures for reference and drawing original poses. Emily asked if she has the pencil lines all over. No, she tried that but doesn’t like it.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi if she talks to her. Emily agreed. She said she could drink all the tea she wants while she’s off. Emily asked if she needs any more Converse then asked if she needed more right now. Ambria said she would like some but doesn’t go out enough to need them right now. Emily said to let her know if that changes.
