Skype rang for about a minute before Emily answered. She was in her car.
Emily asked what kind of necklace she’s wearing. She asked if that’s the one Ambria got for Christmas. Yes.
Emily said she looks warm and asked if she is cold. Not really. Emily said it’s 20 there. Ambria thinks it’s in the 40s. Emily said it’s supposed to get down to 14 and snow Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Ambria told her it is supposed to snow here soon too.
Emily said Birdie’s mom (new cat) had two others. Their names are peanut butter and jelly. Emily said, “Isn’t that cute?” The mother is pregnant again. Ambria asked if there were only 3. Emily said there were 4 but one died.
Ambria told her she used to watch a show about kittens. Emily asked which one. Ambria doesn’t know the name. Emily asked if it’s a nature show. Ambria thinks so. Emily thinks she knows the one she’s talking about.
Emily told her Sue took French in college. Emily asked if she might write to Sue in French.
Emily asked about the pen pal. They haven’t finished them. Emily asked who her pen pal is. They haven’t gotten that far yet.
Emily asked about yoga. Ambria said, “That’s going good. It’s fun.” Emily said she has the class tomorrow.
Emily said it’s supposed to be icy and cold on the weekend. She said it takes the dog “forever” to go outside. Emily said she would think she’d be quicker. Ambria said the cold might slow her down.
Emily asked if she’s had to go to school recently. No.
Ambria asked if Emily wanted to see the drawings she’s been doing. Emily said yes. Ambria showed her the picture she drew of a My Hero Academia character. Ambria moved to another one. Emily asked if she would put that one back so she can make a screenshot of it. She did. Ambria showed her another one. Emily took another screenshot after fiddling with her phone for about a minute. Ambria told her the eyes look weird in the first one, but she did better on the second one.
Ambria showed her two she drew from the book Nana got her. Emily said, “Those are really good.” Ambria said she just followed what the book said.
Ambria asked if she’s talked to Reda. “Not recently, but she’s doing OK.” She sent to the doctor and they took her off her cholesterol medication. It’s good because she has trouble taking that one even if they crush it. She still holds the water in her mouth like she did. She’s not doing it as often. Emily said “it’s just part of it.” She asked if Ambria understood. Ambria did. Ambria asked her to tell her hi and she loves her if she talks to her.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily said they would talk on Saturday. They ended the call at February 10, 2021 3:25 PM.
