Emily sent a message after her first call attempt asking if Ambria could call her at February 6, 2021 9:15 AM instead. Ambria replied, “Sure”
Ambria called again at February 6, 2021 9:15 AM. Emily again didn’t answer. Skype said she was unavailable.
Ambria retried at February 6, 2021 9:17 AM. Emily answered this call. She was breaking up. She said it range then paused on her side. She said she didn’t know what was going on with it.
She asked if Ambria had breakfast yet. No. Emily asked if she took the trash and recycling. Yes.
Emily said it’s raining there today and asked if it is here. No, but it’s windy. Emily hates when it’s windy because it’s cold and it blows her hair.
Emily asked how school was going. “It’s good.” She told her about their pen pals in French. Emily said that was “neat.” She said the French people are writing to them in English.
Emily asked how yoga was. It was different but not super hard. Emily asked if the videos are of her. No, they are just yoga videos she finds. Emily asked if she’s also a PE teacher. She’s a coach. Emily asked if it fulfills her second PE requirement. Yes. Emily asked if she needs 2 or 4 years. 2 semesters. Emily said good and that she would be relieved if it were her.
Ambria asked about Reda. “She’s still doing OK. She still feels OK.” She told Ambria she got the photo album. Emilly asked what pictures she put in there. Some older but mostly new. Emily asked if they’re pictures she took. Yes. Emily said she’d like that. Emily asked if Ambria thinks Reda knows what a selfie is. Yes.
Emily asked if she ran out of her chai tea mix. Ambria has a little left but not enough for a drink. Emily said she didn’t need to save it. Ambria wanted to because she drank the rest too fast. Emily asked if she likes it and drank more than a cup per day. No, but she was down to one in two weeks.
Emily tried a black bean mix that was OK. She won’t try it again. “I could have made that.”
Emily told her Starbucks has a new plant-based breakfast sandwich. It’s vegan. She thinks it’s called “plant-based breakfast.” It’s only available during breakfast, so she never has a chance to get it. Ambria said, “Mmm hmm.” Emily asked what food she gets. Usually a bagel. Emily asked if she likes it warm with cream cheese. Yes. Emily asked if she gets plain cream cheese or strawberry. Plain, but she sometimes gets the cinnamon raisin bagel.
Emily said she’s had the dog for six years as of yesterday. Ambria asked how old she is. 6. Emily said she got emotional. She said six years ago, she was less than a pound.
Ambria told her she’s up to 40 shines in her game. Emily asked how many there are. 96. Emily asked which she will play then. Ambria is more excited about Mario Galaxy. Emily asked if she’s going to play today. Maybe.
Emily asked if she has plans or has homework. Yes, homework. Math? Yes. Emily asked how many hours of math she has to do. On the days she has homework, at least an hour. Emily asked if that’s math or everything. Just math. Ambria said that’s the least.
Ambria told her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she will. Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at February 6, 2021 9:29 AM.
