Emily asked what she is doing. She’s been working on school. Emily asked which science she is taking. Biology. Emily asked if she has taken chemistry. She had that last year alongside physics. Emily asked if she’s in Biology 1 and 2. Yes. Emily asked what homework she has in that class. They’re having a discussion where they answer questions on Schoology. They’re talking about whether the vaccine should be mandatory. Emily said that was “an interesting topic.” She thought it would be “about some kind of critter.”
Emily asked if she has tried her drink mix with milk. No, but she drank it all. She saved her last drink for a recent day off. Emily asked if it was just as good as Starbucks. Emily asked if she drank it hot or cold. Cold. Emily asked if she’s had it hot. No, but she prefers cold.
Emily asked if she’s started doing anything in yoga. They did their first workout on Monday. Emily asked what days she has it. Monday and Thursday. Emily asked if she had to get a mat out and follow along with the teacher. No, it is independent. They can do any exercise for 45 minutes. Emily said, so you did 45 minutes of a “yoga-esque activity?” Doesn’t even have to be yoga. Emily asked what she did. She worked out with a video the teacher shared. It made her legs tired. Emily asked if she has a yoga mat. Yes. Emily noted they could still do a different workout if they didn’t have a yoga mat. Ambria agreed.
Ambria told her she has played more of her game. Emily asked if she’s finished Sunshine. She has 35/96 shines. Emily asked if she will play the others. Yes.
Emily asked if she still goes to Starbucks. Ambria said we stopped for a while since the virus was worse, but we have started going again since things are getting better and its not supposed to spread through food.
Emily said she has a KN95 mask she wears now. Ambria told her we have reusable cloth ones we wash. Emily said she has “a bunch” of those too. Emily said she doesn’t wash after every use. If there are people around. Emily said she walks the dog. She described the scenario. Sounds like there aren’t many people around. She wears hers just in case. Ambria told her we’re supposed to wear one in the halls and elevator. Emily asked if people wear them here. Ambria told her she hasn’t ever seen someone not wearing one. Emily said people don’t always wear them where she lives.
Ambria told her she decided to draw from her My Hero Academia book. She didn’t want to trace, so she’s been drawing by looking at it. Emily asked if she just started today. No, she’s been doing it. Emily said she would need to show her. Ambria told her Nana sent her a bunch of drawing books and art stuff. Emily said she didn’t know Ambria likes to draw. Ambria said she’s not good. Emily said she needs to practice. Ambria said she just copies stuff.
Emily asked if she needs any more supplies. Ambria doesn’t.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she would talk on Saturday, have a good week at school, and don’t do too much yoga. They ended the call at February 3, 2021 3:23 PM.
