Ambria called Emily. Skype said she was not online.
Ambria tried again immediately. Skype still said she was not online.
Ambria retired at January 30, 2021 9:00 AM. The call rang.
Emily asked how many times she called. Two other times. Emily said a lot of times she’s looking at Skype on her phone and it shows a missed call. She said it did that twice. Ambria said it was weird.
Emily is having café latte from the Asian supermarket. Emily asked if we have any Asian supermarkets here. Ambria told her about the Asian bookstore and the supermarket that’s connected to it. Emily said there’s a large Asian population there and a large supermarket. She said they have “everything in there.” Emily asked if she’s had Asian desserts. She asked about the red bean buns. Ambria said she had had them. Emily asked if she likes them. Yes. Emily said the latte has 25% lower sugar and she can tell.
Ambria said she likes bubble tea. Emily agreed and asked which flavor. Ambria doesn’t have a favorite. Emily said she can’t go wrong with strawberry. Ambria said she likes the tapioca. Emily does too. Emily bought boba and herbal tea to make her own.
Emily asked if she’s had the popping pearls. No. Emily said they pop when you eat them. Emily doesn’t like them much. Emily got the honey tapioca. She said they look like Orbeez. They looked weird but were still good.
Emily asked how her game is. Ambria told her she has 23 shines out of 96. Emily asked if she’s played all the games. No, but she wants to try the others when she’s finished with Sunshine.
Emily said it’s raining there. Ambria thinks it is here too.
Emily asked if they had classes yesterday and had to introduce themselves. She only had one class that changed. Emily asked about the yoga instructor. Ambria said she’s nice and is leaving to have a baby soon. Emily asked who is filling in and suggested Ambria could. Ambria laughed. Ambria told her how the class works: they check in, do the workout, and then submit a reflection.
Emily said she would show the cat but it wasn’t around. She was feeding her goat milk and is now feeding her goat milk out of a kitten bowl. Emily asked what that is. Emily clarified it’s a kitten bottle, like a baby bottle. Emily said it’s not the best and she has trouble drinking from it. Emily described how she brushes the cat’s teeth. They joked about it.
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at January 30, 2021 9:11 AM.
