They both said good morning. Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria has been working on trash and recycling. Emily asked her to repeat. She seems to be having bandwidth problems. Emily said at least she doesn’t have to walk far.
Emily asked if she knows Taylor Swift has a new album out that released yesterday. Ambria asked when the last one came out. Emily said this is the “sister album.” Emily asked if she liked the last one. Ambria hasn’t gotten to listen to it because she can’t on Spotify. Emily asked what she uses. Spotify. Emily asked if she pays for it. No. Ambria said she heard some of them. Emily said if she will like it if she liked the last one. Emily said she sang another song with Bon Iver if Ambria likes him. Ambria doesn’t know him. Emily said she doesn’t either.
Emily asked what else she is doing. Ambria thinks their math unit test is coming but she doesn’t know when. She thinks it will be this week. Emily thinks she will be ready. Emily asked how long the class is. 45 minutes. They go through a workbook, write notes, and do an example. They have an exit ticket, and they can leave and start on homework or a quiz. Emily asked what an exit ticket is. It’s a quiz to show they understand. Emily said that’s good that she can gauge that.
Emily asked if she’s had breakfast and what she will have. Probably Apple Jacks. Emily asked if she told her about trying the chai tea at Dunkin Donuts. She asked if she should try it at Starbucks. Ambria thinks so. Emily is still playing a game in the Starbucks app. Emily asked if she makes any changes to the chai latte. Ambria usually gets it iced. Emily asked if she gets extra tea. No. Emily asked if there is syrup in it. Ambria doesn’t think so. Emily asked if she’s had it hot. Yes, but she doesn’t like it as much.
Ambria told her she sent her Christmas cards yesterday. Emily said she’s “more on the ball than I am.” Ambria asked if she found the link to the Amazon wish list. Emily said she has the old one and asked if Ambria added anything. Ambria thinks she did a couple of weeks ago. Emily asked if it’s the one that had the craft stuff. Yes, but Ambria needs to take it off because she’s not doing that much anymore. Emily asked what crafts she’s doing. Ambria thinks she did something recently. She’s had to draw and color for a couple of school projects. Emily asked if she has enough “coloring utensils.” Yes. Emily asked if she’s not into knitting as much. No, but she was working on a scarf for someone for Christmas. Emily said she’ll take a look if Ambria wanted to add anything else to it.
Emily asked why she hasn’t talked to McKenzie. She has a lot of homework. Emily asked how many hours of homework she has per day. Sometimes she doesn’t have any and other times she has a lot. Ambria told her the Monday and Thursday classes do everything in class, but the Tuesday and Friday classes are harder and give homework. Emily said maybe she’ll get to talk to her on the school break and play Minecraft. Ambria said they were trying to get it working but couldn’t.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily asked if she has anything special planned. No. Emily told her to try to listen to the Taylor Swift album. They ended the call at December 12, 2020 9:09 AM.
