Emily asked if she had to go to school too. Yes. Emily asked if she did moving after school. Ambria said she sat in the corner while they were moving stuff. Emily asked if they accidentally moved her. Ambria said she was in the new apartment.
Emily asked if Ambria had explored the building. Ambria told her we’re getting a tour from the welcoming committee in a few days. She’s been to the roof, the garage, and the lobby. Emily asked if it has stairs or an elevator. Ambria told her she knows of one elevator and one set of stairs and one lobby. Emily asked if it’s a big building. Ambria said it’s pretty big. Ambria told her there’s a courtyard. Emily asked if there’s a sitting area. Ambria told her there are chairs but they’re stacked up right now.
Emily said there’s a courtyard outside her balcony with grills. She said they’re constantly washing cars. Ambria said that was funny. Ambria told her we have grills on the roof. Emily asked if she’s going to use them. Maybe. Ambria told her there’s one on the roof and one in the garage. Emily told her there are 4 grills at hers. She said her plants are out there. She doesn’t go out there much because it’s noisy.
Emily asked if she got lost going to the roof or lobby. No because we live close to the elevator and it goes to the roof.
Emily asked how far she is from the Starbucks. Ambria told her a block and a half. Emily asked if she can see it from the room. No, but you probably could from the roof. Emily asked if she could still walk there. Ambria said that’s where she got lunch yesterday. Emily asked what she got. Ambria told her. Emily asked if she’s close to Trader Joe’s. Not Trader Joe’s. Ambria told her that was close to the place we lived before the last one. Now, we’re closer to the Metropolitan Market which is a kinda fancy grocery store and two blocks from the Safeway and three blocks from the PCC that has organic and healthy stuff. Emily asked if we’re closer to the bus stop. Yes, we’re a little closer to the main bus stop.
Emily asked if she’s excited. Yes. Emily doesn’t have anything excited. She took it back. She said she tried vegan tacos and they were very good. She told her the ones she tried. She was impressed. Ambria told her we ordered from the taco truck for dinner. Emily asked what she got. Ambria got a chicken quesadilla.
Emily said she tried some incogmeato with a coupon. She said they are shaped like Mickey Mouse. She said they taste like Morningstar chicken patty. Emily asked if it’s weird that she won’t do anything without a coupon.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily asked if she has Bing Sou. Ambria doesn’t think so. Emily said it’s like Korean snow cream. Ambria doesn’t know of it. Emily said they have one that doesn’t use any sweetener. She said it’s finely shaved frozen milk. She said Ambria should try it.
