Emily asked what she’s doing today. Working on stuff for school, and she went to pick up a pair of gloves from school for woodworking. Emily said gloves are handy, making a pun.
Emily asked how school was. Good. She hasn’t finished everything. Emily asked if she has homework. Ambria told her this is the day they work on their work they’ve gotten throughout the week.
Emily asked if she’s tried on her AirPods and if they fit. Ambria said the left one doesn’t always fit. Emily said that was strange.
Emily asked what else she’s been doing. Ambria said she got a birthday card from Reda on Saturday. Emily asked how it went. Ambria told her Reda sent some things she made. Emily asked what kind of things. Ambria said they were thanksgiving things like a turkey and a leaf. Emily asked if she wrote in it. Ambria said someone wrote in it, but she isn’t sure who. Emily asked if she signed it. Ambria said the person who wrote it signed it. Emily said probably not then. She asked if Ambria could read it. Yes. Emily said she’s glad she got it. Ambria said the signature is in cursive but she doesn’t know who wrote it.
Emily asked what else she got for her birthday. Ambria told her she got some flowers. Emily said that’s nice and asked what kind. Ambria told her they were purple and white. Emily said she bets those were pretty.
Emily asked if she’s gotten to go outside. Ambria went out today. Emily asked if that was to do the trash. Ambria told her she went to the school. Emily asked if it’s cold. Ambria said it is warmer, but the wind started blowing and she “thought it might blow (her) away.”
Emily said she’s glad Ambria had a good birthday celebration. She asked if Ambria got the film. Yes, and she got the necklace. Emily asked if she still wanted that one. Yes.
Emily asked how French class is going. Ambria said they’re about to have their first big test but she’s done good on all of those. Emily asked if she still likes it. Emily asked if she wants to do it as a career. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily told her she has plenty of time to decide and might end up deciding she doesn’t enjoy it.
Emily asked if she’s following the election. No. She was looking at it, but it hasn’t changed all day. Emily said that was true. Emily said we probably won’t know until tomorrow morning. Ambria agreed.
Emily said Panda is wearing her sweater. Emily said there’s a German shepherd she’s afraid of. She would normally bark at it, but she doesn’t. She also doesn’t like rats.
Emily asked if she’s gotten to skate. No, she hasn’t done that in a while.
Emily asked if she’s still thinking about being able to move. Yes. Emily asked if she’s excited. Yes. Emily asked if it’s close. Yes. Emily said that’s good so we don’t have to get a big moving truck. Yes, but Ambria told her we’re still getting movers for the furniture. Emily said she’ll get to redo her room.
Emily asked if she’s had a good week. Yes.
Emily got some meatless meat. She’s been having chicken sandwiches. Emily asked if she’s had any more Starbucks. Ambria had a bagel today. Emily got a vanilla sweet cream something to use some of her points. She wanted a syrup in it to use some of her points, but the barista told her it was part of the drink. Emily asked for whipped cream, but the barista said she couldn’t do that. Emily said it tasted burned. It was cold coffee. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t delicious. Emily said she likes the everything bagel and asked if Ambria did. Ambria likes the cinnamon. Emily said she got that bagel for free. She didn’t want to get a stale muffin, so she got the bagel.
