Ambria called Emily. Skype said she was offline.
Ambria retried at October 3, 2020 8:59 AM. The call rang through and Emily answered.
Emily asked if Ambria wanted to see her herbs. She showed them on the camera and said she had done nothing. She said she did give it some plant food last night, but that’s it.
She asked Ambria not to forget to make her a list of things she wants for her birthday.
Emily asked what cereal she’s having. Chocolate Cheerios. Emily asked if she likes those or blueberry best. Chocolate. Emily has been having Frosted Flakes. Ambria said we have chocolate, blueberry, peanut butter chocolate, and Apple Jacks. Emily said she had Frosted Flakes, fruity pebbles, cocoa pebbles, and Reese puffs. She doesn’t love the Reese puffs.
Ambria said she’s doing a project in Science. They have to make a poster or video showing how an organism is organized. Emily asked which she would do. Probably a poster. Emily asked if you record yourself for the video. Ambria said they could do whatever they want. Emily asked if they’ll show it during class. The teacher said they won’t be presented. Emily asked how they’ll be graded. They will turn them in on Schoology. She’s going to show the really good ones. Emily said maybe that will be hers. Ambria’s going to do a sunflower. Emily said that will be neat, different, and cute.
Emily asked how many bowls of cereal she has per day. Ambria said she usually has one but sometimes has two. Emily asked if she still drinks… what kind of milk? Almond milk. Emily said they have Silk. She prefers Almond Breeze. Ambria said Silk is what we have. Emily said some of it gets thick. Ambria said that’s why she likes Silk.
Emily asked about her moo-shrooms. They’re good. She’s not sure if she played this week. Emily said she looked them up so she’d know what Ambria was talking about.
Emily asked when she goes back to the eye doctor. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily said it’s every year, right? Yes. Ambria said she had an appointment a few months ago but canceled it. Emily said she understands that. Emily said that’s what happened to Reda’s neurology appointment too. Emily said maybe she’ll be able to go sometime.
Emily said she hasn’t heard anything else about Reda’s COVID.
Ambria said they started reading a graphic novel in language arts. She doesn’t know what it’s called. Emily asked if she likes it. She likes that it’s a graphic novel and isn’t boring.
Emily asked how she did on the French test. Ambria found out it’s on Monday instead. Emily said she will be prepared for Monday. Emily asked if she changed it. Ambria thinks she just misunderstood. Emily asked if she needs a planner. Ambria has one and writes down all her assignments.
Emily showed her a Starbucks cup. Emily said she didn’t pay for it. They have had games you can play to win stars. Emily plays every day and collected 400 stars. The first 316 were going to expire, so she picked out the cup. Emily tried to show it to her so she could see the iridescent color. Emily said she tried to use it and was told they only use stars up to 16. She uses it for water. It holds 3 cups at a time. It’s for cold drinks. She said that’s her purchase for a few months.
Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Emily said she would. Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily said she would talk to her on Wednesday. They ended the call at October 3, 2020 9:11 AM.
