Emily answered and there was lots of static noise. Emily said something about Ambria not being able to hear her. Ambria told her she can hear.
Emily asked what kind of necklace Ambria has. Ambria showed her. Emily asked if she wears it a lot. She hasn’t worn it in a while.
Emily asked when she starts school and asked if it was Friday. Ambria said yes. Emily said that was unusual. Emily said she would go one day and then be off for two. She said she guesses Ambria will be off three including labor day. Ambria said she thinks they’re doing stuff on Monday. She said the first six days are strong start. Emily said she thought medium start would be better.
Emily told her if you see anything vegan on clearance, there’s a reason for it. Ambria asked about what she got. Emily said it wasn’t good. She also tried a tostada that was a bunch of “mushed up healthy stuff.” She said it came out like wet cat food. Emily said she will keep trying.
Emily asked how her banh mi was. Ambria said it was good. She said part of it was too chewy but she pulled it out. Emily asked about the cilantro. She pulled that out too. Emily asked if she could ask for it without. Ambria said she didn’t think to.
Ambria said they’re supposed to have their schedules today but haven’t gotten them. She said they will definitely have them by Friday morning. They sent out the schedule about “how everything else is going to be.” She has a schedule for which period starts at what time. Ambria shared it with her. She has live instruction in the morning that takes attendance. Afternoons will have office hours with the teacher. They stagger classes across different days. They will still get out early on Wednesday.
Emily asked what live instruction entails and if that means the teacher is live. Ambria thinks so. Emily asked how many live classes each teacher teaches each week. Ambria thinks 3 per week. Emily asked if the format is the same for in-person. No, at school they take every class every day.
Emily asked what time she has to be signed on. 9am to 3:50pm. Emily said that’s “not too bad.” She said she’ll “get to have an extra snooze in the morning.” Ambria told her she used to have to get up at 6am.
Emily asked if she has a breakfast picked out that she can make quickly. Emily said she has another question about school, but she can’t think of it.
Emily asked if Ambria knows how she can reload Ambria’s Starbucks card. Ambria said she doesn’t know if there’s a way to reload it. Emily asked how much is on it. Ambria doesn’t remember.
Emily asked how McKenzie is. Ambria thinks she’s good. She’s going to try to talk to her today. Emily asked if they’re going to try to play Minecraft. Ambria said she doesn’t know if she’s at her dad’s. Emily asked what the other game is they play. Ambria thought she might have been thinking of skyblock.
Emily asked about yoga. Ambria hasn’t been doing it.
