Emily asked what kind she will eat. Apple cinnamon Cheerios. Ambria said she can’t taste the apple. Emily agreed. Emily asked if she has tried the bagged cereal. No. Emily said she tried the bagged Reese Puff knockoffs and liked them.
Emily said a bug bit her on the leg and made two huge bumps. She said it’s itching and she’s been scratching it. Ambria told her it rained yesterday and it will be cooler today. She said it’s supposed to be back in the 70s tomorrow. Ambria said the high today is 68. Emily said that seems pretty comfortable.
Emily asked if Ambria will go out and skateboard. Maybe. Emily asked if she has covered parking. Yes. Emily said that’s good since she can go out in any weather. Ambria said you might still get wet if it rained since the rain would come in.
Emily asked if she has been to Starbucks. Yes, she got a chai tea frappucino on Thursday. Emily asked if she prefers that to the s’mores. Ambria likes both. Emily asked her to describe the chai. Ambria said she likes it but can’t explain it. Emily said it’s a unique taste. Ambria said it tastes like other chai. Emily asked if she’s tried the green tea drinks. No, but she has tried the white tea. Emily thinks she has tried it too. Emily said she doesn’t like green tea. Ambria likes their matcha frappucino. Emily said she’s scared to try it. Ambria said it’s not strong or bitter.
Emily said she got some kind of rice dough thing. She tried to describe it. Ambria knew what she was talking about. Emily said she tried that in matcha and didn’t like it. She said it was like “eating a bunch of grass.”
Emily asked if she talked to McKenzie. Yes, yesterday. Emily asked if she got Minecraft set up so they can play together. No. Ambria described why it wouldn’t work. They’re going to try when McKenzie can get it installed on her PS4. Ambria said Skyblock wasn’t working on the Minecraft server she plays on. She thought it would never work again, but it was fixed recently. Emily asked if she’ll play that now. Yes. Ambria told Emily about the traveling salesmen. She told her that one spawned on her island and she didn’t know that was possible. She left for a while and came back. The guy was gone but the llamas were still there. He came back later, so she killed them and took the llamas.
Ambria asked if she has talked to Reda. Emily asked what the last update was she gave to Ambria. Emily said they have two more COVID positive workers who aren’t showing symptoms. Emily asked if she had told her one of the residents was positive. Emily thinks it will be “months and months“ before they can meet face to face. She said they have a lot of activities that have been canceled. Emily thinks she’s probably lonely and a little depressed even though Reda claims she isn’t. Emily thinks COVID will probably keep spreading. She reiterated that she thinks it will be a long time before they can meet without talking through the door. Ambria said to wave if Emily goes back to see her.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she will talk on Wednesday and to have fun with the llamas. They ended the call at August 22, 2020 9:10 AM.
