Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria just got off the phone with McKenzie. Emily asked how it went. They played Minecraft together… or at the same time at least. Emily said she wished they could play together. Ambria said they’re trying. Emily said she hopes they figure it out.
Emily asked what else she has been doing. Ambria is eating popcorn. We went on a walk this morning. Emily asked where we walked to. She asked if we went to Starbucks. Ambria told her no but we got it on Sunday since it was hot. Emily asked what she ordered. A s’mores Frappuccino. Emily asked if that’s her regular order. Emily doesn’t remember the last Starbucks she got. She goes to Dunkin. She likes their cold brew, but she doesn’t get it unless she has a coupon, so she gets iced coffee. She gets a medium for the coupon but she’d rather get a large. Emily asked what size she gets. Ambria gets grande. They talked about the drink sizes at Starbucks.
Ambria asked about Reda. Someone else got COVID at the place she’s staying and was asymptomatic. They tested everyone again. Emily thinks Reda has been tested 3-4 times so far.
Emily asked if she’s done any outside skating, the corrected herself that all skating would be outside. Not recently but she might today or tomorrow.
Emily tried to get the dog. Emily said Ambria’s nails reminded her of the dog’s nails. She can’t find the dog, so she showed Ambria the cat. Emily said something about the dog getting a haircut. Emily said Ambria and the cat have the same nails. Emily suggested Ambria should paint them. She would suggest a pastel color but she guesses Ambria doesn’t like those. Ambria listed the colors she has. Emily picked mint green out of those she listed. Emily asked if she has teal. Ambria she has a blue that’s close. Ambria told her she also has light purple. Emily asked if she’s tried it.
Emily asked about the weather. Ambria said it was in the 90s on Sunday, but it’s cooler now. The high today is in the 70s. Emily said she could go out and “do whatever you do on wheels” without it being too hot.” Emily asked if she goes to the beach. Ambria said she doesn’t since COVID. Ambria said it’s pretty far. She said it’s not far but it’s far to walk. Emily said it’s about a mile when she checked.
Emily said, “Are you doing anything…” then the call cut out. She asked if her roller derby team is doing an anything. Ambria said they’re skating somewhere, but that’s all she’s seen in a while. She asked if they still do yoga on Wednesday. Ambria said they don’t do it anymore.
Emily asked what level she is in French. 5000? Ambria said she’s taking a break. Emily said she’s been taking one for a while.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she’ll let her know how Reda goes. She said she’ll talk to her on Saturday. They ended the call at August 19, 2020 3:25 PM.
