Ambria said she played Minecraft a few minutes ago. Emily asked how it went. Ambria said everything grows fast on her island except potatoes and carrots. Emily asked why. Ambria doesn’t know.
Emily said she got Ambria’s letter on Saturday. She went to see Reda over the weekend. She said they usually wheel her down to the door. They told her an employee tested positive. They believe it’s a false positive. She was told that, as a result, they aren’t taking people out of their rooms. She asked they give the letters to Reda. They called Emily back and took Reda to a different door. She tried to get Reda to read them to her, but she didn’t understand. She said Reda fell asleep while talking to her. Emily said she’ll try again. It’s hard to talk to Reda because she mumbles and looks away. She said her original plan didn’t quite work out. Ambria said OK.
Emily asked if she’s talked to McKenzie. Not yet today but she will try later. She did on Monday.
Emily asked if she’s still doing yoga for roller derby. Ambria said they’ve been getting together in-person to skate but she hasn’t been participating. Ambria told her they’re having a Zoom party tomorrow and opening their presents. Emily asked what it is. Ambria said it’s small and flat but not perfectly flat. Emily said it might be a type of roller skate. Ambria chortled.
Ambria said she’s on day 123 of her streak. Emily joked about not having a streak. Emily asked if she feels like she’s learning a lot more than she was in her classes. Yes. Emily asked how fluent she is on a scale of 1-10. Ambria rated herself 3. Emily said that’s half way to 5. Emily told her to keep working on it and she’ll get to 5 which is half way to 10.
Emily told about cutting cilantro in the dark. They laughed. She told about the cat catching a huge bug. She gave updates on the other wild animals.
