They wished each other good morning. Emily said it looked like a big bowl of cereal she has. Emily asked what kind. Apple cinnamon.
Emily asked if Ambria likes her coffee mug with sparkles. Emily said it keeps the coffee “blazing lava hot.”
Emily said it’s very hot outside. 92 degrees, 98 with humidity. Ambria said she doesn’t know what it is here, but it’s not that hot. Emily said she thinks it’s in the 60s.
Emily asked what she did Thursday and Friday. Ambria told her they went to Starbucks on Thursday during happy hour. Emily said, “So, they opened up, huh?” Ambria said they opened about a month ago for a few weeks, closed for a week, and now they’re back open. Emily said she can shout out her order. She asked what Ambria got. Ambria got a drink. Emily said it’s too much if you don’t go during happy hour. She asked what drink Ambria got. Ambria got a smores frappucino. Emily asked how it was. Ambria liked it. Emily said she liked the caramel ribbon crunch. Ambria said the smores one is one of her favorites. Emily said she would try that one. She said sometimes her location is out of her drink.
Emily said she’s “going to town on that cereal.” Ambria said it’s good.
Emily asked if she had talked to McKenzie. Ambria talked to her yesterday. She had to get root canals. Emily said that “sounds like a horrible day… month… year.” Emily asked how many. 2 on one side, 1 on the other. Emily said to “send her some healing thoughts.” Ambria said they run in her family.
Emily asked if her new city has a lot of stuff to do. Ambria said it’s not very big. You can walk around the whole town. Ambria thinks they have a mall and a river that’s really pretty.
Emily fed Bart the groundhog more watermelon rind. She hopes he finds it. Her frog “moved along.” She said she has “one less friend in her life.”
Emily’s allergies are bothering her. She sometimes gets a migraine when it rains. Ambria doesn’t think it’s rained in about a week. Emily said it rained a little Wednesday night.
Emily asked what else she has been doing. Ambria has been playing Animal Crossing. She has been working on her RPG workshop. Emily asked what RPG stands for. Ambria told her it’s “role playing game.” Ambria said they had to watch a favorite movie and make some notes about characters and plot. Ambria watched Ready Player One. Emily asked what her next task is. Ambria doesn’t remember. Emily asked how long it lasts. Ambria doesn’t know.
Emily asked if she’s heard about school. Ambria doesn’t know. She thinks there’s an option to do it all online, and that’s what she’s going to do. Emily said they’re trying to decide what to do. Emily would probably choose home too because it feels safer. “It definitely is. People still go crazy out here as far as gathering and not wearing a mask and stuff.” She said her worry level is “very high.”
Ambria asked her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. She said she would.
