Emily asked what she’s doing now that she’s free from school. Ambria just got off the phone with McKenzie. Emily asked how that went. Ambria talks to her a couple of times a week, and she’s going to Safeway. Emily asked which one was moving. McKenzie has already moved. Emily asked if she’s still in Seattle. Ambria said she already lived in Renton and is moving farther south. Emily said she’s glad she still gets to talk to her.
Emily asked if she’s been playing games with her. No. Ambria has been focused on Animal Crossing. She asked what Ambria was doing in it. Ambria is focused on getting money and paying off her house debt. Emily asked if she has to fish and look for things to sell. Ambria gets about 30k from the bell trees and sells fossils. Emily said she’s glad she’s able to make money to pay off her debt. Emily asked about The Sims. Ambria accidentally aged one of the kids too early. She’s going to get one of her toddlers to level 5 instead of 3 to make up for it. Emily asked about the skills. Ambria named them. Emily asked if McKenzie plays it. No, she hates it because her sister plays it and talks about it all the time.
Emily asked if she finished school. Yes. Emily asked what she got. All A’s. Emily asked if it was hard to teach herself. Kind of in math and some science. Emily said she doesn’t think she could have done it at Ambria’s age. She’s glad Ambria is able to do it. Emily asked if writing papers was any trouble. No, but she didn’t like it. Emily said she didn’t mind it but was also glad when they were done.
Ambria told her we got cookies from he Met Market on Sunday. Emily asked how they were and if they were homemade. Ambria thinks they were made there. They were really big. The first one took her forever to eat. Emily asked if she still has any. She ate part of one a few days ago and finished it yesterday. Emily asked what kind. Chocolate chips with nuts. Ambria doesn’t like the nuts but the rest is good.
Emily said she’s trying to get tomatoes to grow but not having much luck. She asked about Ambria’s lettuce. Ambria showed her. Emily said it was bigger than last time. Emily asked if we used any. Yes. Emily asked how it was. Ambria doesn’t remember.
Emily went to see Reda. Ambria asked if she got the Mother’s Day card. Yes, she did. Ambria explained that she has to re-send it. Emily said she will take a video when she can actually go in to see her. She’ll send pictures in the meantime.
Emily asked if Ambria has listened to the new Lady Gaga album yet. No, but Ambria will try today.
Emily asked if things are OK here as far as the protests. Yes, Ambria hasn’t heard anything else about them, so she assumes it’s fine.
Emily asked what she’s doing this weekend. No plans. Emily asked if she got back into her roller derby workouts. Yes, and she has one tonight. Emily asked if she’s still doing yoga. Yes. Emily asked if she will be teaching the yoga class at school. Ambria chortled. Emily said she bets she could. She also confirmed that woodworking is her other elective. Yes. Emily asked if she just makes stuff out of wood. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily said she’s interested to know. Ambria is too.
