Emily asked what she’s eating. Ambria told her popcorn. Emily asked if she finished her schoolwork today. Yes. They didn’t get much this week since next week is their last week. Emily said she’s glad Ambria will be “school-free” for a while. Emily asked what they are going to do next year. Ambria told her they have a few options and she doesn’t really understand them. Emily told some of the measures her district is taking next year. She asked if Ambria’s concerned. No. Ambria thinks they’ll do a good job here. Emily said, “They’re pretty progressive and seem to have things more figured out.”
Emily said she’s growing mint scallions, an extra plant of cilantro, tomatoes, and 3 types of basil. She said she’s nervous. Ambria told her she got a succulent. Emily asked what kind. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily asked what it looks like. Ambria described it. Ambria took the phone over to the window and showed her. Emily said she doesn’t have them but she likes them. She’s not sure what they’re called. Ambria also told her the other neighbor gave us a lettuce plant. Emily asked if she can call Ambria for tips. Sure.
Emily said her basil is thriving. One cilantro is good, the other is sad. She has that one out in the rain. Emily told Ambria if you plant mint it drops seeds and makes more mint. She said her friend had it all over the yard. She said she cheated on her scallions. She’s going to make vegan chickpea salad. She’s going to cut off the bulbs and plant them. She said she has 20 of them. If she’s covered in soil next time, that’s why.
Ambria told her about her baby challenge in the Sims. She just had the 6th baby. Ambria told her about the new game she just started playing. Ambria doesn’t know how to play. She adopted 4 cats and they’re dying. Emily said it is tragic, but that they do have 9 lives. Emily asked her more about the baby challenge. Ambria listed the various kids she has. Emily asked what she does with them all. Put them to work. The toddlers do skills so they can become a kid and go to school. Emily said she’d have 24 kids by Saturday. Emily asked how long it takes them to mature. Baby to toddler: 2 in-game days. Toddler to kid: depending on skill advancement, about 2-3 in-game days. Kid to teenager: A in school. Teenager to adult: A in school. Emily asked if she’s moving them out ASAP. Yes, because there’s a household limit. Emily said she should put some time into caring for the cats too.
