Emily said “Good morning.” Ambria reciprocated. Emily asked about the weather. Ambria told her it’s not raining and in the upper 40s. Emily said it’s about 70 there.
Ambria told her she played Animal Crossing yesterday. Emily asked what she thinks. Ambria said it’s fun. She asked if her mom watched any videos of it. No. Emily asked if she should. Emily will and will let Ambria know what she thinks.
Ambria said in Animal Crossing she paid off her debt and then got back in debt by buying a house. Emily tried to name the games she plays. She got all the Switch games except Splatoon. Emily said if she cycles through those, she’ll be a muscle woman and very entertained.
Ambria told her they’re starting remote school on Monday. Emily asked what that means. Ambria told her they don’t really know yet.
Emily told her school is out there until April 24, 2020 or April 27, 2020. She said it doesn’t apply to her. She asked if we’re providing lunches. Yes. Emily said they are in Tennessee too. Ambria told her they’re also working to get everyone internet access so everyone can participate in remote school. Emily said she hasn’t heard about that in Tennessee. She said she knows not everyone has access to computers or the internet. She said she thinks they can work with the county to get access. (What?) Emily said it’s a weird time.
Ambria said she’s been trying to figure out what to cook for one of the tasks on her language arts remote bingo. They have to cook something new and write a review. Emily asked if there’s a limitation on the ingredients. Ambria told her she might make it after we next go grocery shopping. Emily told her a recipe she wants to make with peaches.
Ambria told her she finished cleaning her bath tub but she still has to clean out the drain. Emily asked how that was. Ambria said she hasn’t done it yet. Emily said it will be a lot of fun. She said not to eat anything beforehand. Emily told her she got a “hair-catcher thingy.” Ambria said she got one too. Emily said she has to go fish out all the hair. Ambria said that’s what she’s going to do.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s doing OK, just hanging around. She’s still eating in the little dining room. Ambria told her to tell her hi and she loves her.
Emily said she thought she saw an eagle yesterday. It was an osprey. She said it looks the same from a distance. It was carrying “some sticks in its feet.” She said it had a nest on top of a big power pole.
Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at March 28, 2020 9:10 AM.
