Emily asked what she’s doing. Working on stuff for language arts. Emily asked what. Ambria told her they watched a video about sentence fragments. Emily asked if they had to type it up on the computer. No, they watched a video. Emily asked if they didn’t have to type anything. Ambria said they took a quiz on it.
Emily said she’s not been doing much. Ambria told her she’s been working on school stuff, playing Stardew Valley, and cleaning her bath tub. Emily said she didn’t like cleaning hers either but it has to be done. Emily said she’s going to organize her desk over the next couple of days. She said she has a dog collar in there, old rabies tags, and old random scraps of paper. Ambria said her desk has a lot of in it. Emily said she has dog’s teeth in hers. Ambria laughed.
Emily said they’ve canceled school in Tennessee until April 24th at least. Ambria said hers is until the 27th. Emily asked if she’s staying busy. Yes. Emily asked if she’s working out in the house. Ambria has been doing Ring Fit Adventure. Emily asked if she likes it. Yes.
Emily said she would show the dog but she’s asleep. Emily brushed her teeth last night and said it was “quite the adventure.” She used to do it when she was a puppy but stopped. Now, she’s started again. She chews on the brush and spits out the toothpaste. Her breath doesn’t smell any better but hopes it will if she keeps it up. She said she’s had quite a few teeth pulled. She asked if she could borrow some of Ambria’s. Ambria said hers are too big.
Ambria searched for something to say. She said it was supposed to rain all week but hasn’t. Emily said it rained all day yesterday and the day before. Today it has been warm. Ambria thinks it’s in the 50s here. Emily said that’s not too bad.
Ambria told here there’s a new vegan restaurant near us. Emily asked if she’s tried it. No, but we might order tonight. Emily asked what she ordered. A tofu banh mi. Emily said she doesn’t care for it very much. She prefers pho. Ambria doesn’t like it. Emily asked if she’s tried the Vietnamese coffee. No. Emily said it’s “not horribly bad.” Emily tried a protein crisp. She said it’s like bird seed. She wouldn’t advise getting them unless you’re starving.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily asked after a second if Ambria could hear her. Ambria asked about Reda again. Emily said she’s OK. She’s still on “lockdown.” Emily said she probably won’t get to go visit for a while, so she assumes everything is OK.
Ambria told her she’s been watching Khan Academy videos for math class. Emily asked how it’s going. Ambria said some is review and some is pointless busy work. Emily asked what it’s called again. Ambria spelled it for her. Emily thought she said Claude academy.
Emily asked if roller derby practices have been canceled. Yes, until the end of the month but Ambria thinks it will be longer. Emily asked if she’s gone outside. Ambria said she’s too lazy. Emily said she’s not lazy, just that it’s hard to right now.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily said she’ll talk to her Saturday at 9am. They ended the call at March 25, 2020 3:25 PM.
