Ambria called Emily on Skype but she did not answer the call. We got no message about her being offline.
Ambria tried again, and she answered at March 18, 2020 3:14 PM.
Emily asked what she’s “doing up there.” Ambria told her she played some Stardew Valley and Splatoon. Ambria thanked her for the Nintendo Online code. Emily asked if there are any new games she wants to try. Ambria said she wants to try Animal Crossing and thinks it already came out. Emily said, “I don’t know. You think it did?” “I think so.” “It probably did.”
Emily said she has been staying inside. Ambria told her it’s really sunny here. Emily said it rained there about an hour ago. Emily told her she collects rainwater in a jug. She said something about leaving water from the sink outside so the chemicals could evaporate before she uses it. She went outside the next day and it wasn’t there. She’s not sure what happened to it. Emily said, “It’s just the principle of it, I guess.”
Emily said the cat is asleep beside her.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s “doing OK.” Emily asked what day it was, said Wednesday, and then said again “she’s doing OK.” She said they’re taking precautions. She’s eating meals in the smaller dining room. Ambria said that’s good and to tell her hi and she loves her.
Emily said they’ve canceled school until the first or third. Ambria told her her teachers have been sending her practice work and links. Her French teacher posted worksheets today. Emily said, “That’s something to do then.”
Emily asked if she’s gotten a chance to do any roller derby practice. Ambria told her she skated on Monday in the parking lot. Emily said she bets it was nice to get out. Ambria said it’s been sunny every day and getting warmer. Ambria told her tomorrow will be in the high 50s. Emily said it’s in the high 60s, but it’s been raining. Emily said she was going to walk at the park but got rained out. Emily is afraid to go to the park around dusk because they close then and she doesn’t know exactly when that is.
Panda got a haircut last week.
Ambria said she’s been doing some Duolingo. Emily said she saw Duolingo and wondered if that’s what Ambria did. Ambria said she did. Emily asked what level she is. Ambria said they don’t have levels but she’s almost finished all the skills in the first group which has 8. Emily said she used it a few years ago and liked it. She’s glad Ambria is using it.
Emily asked if she has anything to do for math. Ambria has been doing Khan Academy. Emily asked if it’s simple. Ambria has been doing review of what they had been doing in class.
Emily asked if she can get books sent to her. No. Ambria has been doing other stuff.
Emily asked if she will do some knitting. Ambria might do some.
Emily asked if she’s been watching anything. Ambria has been watching Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily said she will talk to her on Saturday. They ended the call at March 18, 2020 3:24 PM.
After the call, Ambria said she had acted strange on the call. I noticed it too. She almost seemed like she had been asleep or maybe was under the influence of something.
