Emily asked how she’s doing. Good. Emily asked if she’s feeling OK. Yes. Emily said she is too.

Emily said she would ask how school is but she can’t. Ambria told her it’s canceled until at least April 27th. Emily said, “It is what it is, I guess.” Ambria told her the teachers have been sending her stuff to practice. Emily said OK. Emily asked if they have an online version of school. No, because only the 9th graders have laptops. Emily said if she didn’t have the laptop, she would do what? Ambria said most people have a way to do it but not everyone so the schools don’t want to. Emily said that makes sense.

Emily said she sent an email but didn’t get a response. Ambria said she read it but was still thinking. Emily said she thought Ambria might not have gotten it.

Emily asked if the school has sent any practice work yet. Ambria said the French teacher sent a bunch of web sites they could go to. Two of her other teachers have sent emails to say what they will be doing. The principal sent an email with a bunch of web sites. Emily asked if she likes her principal. Yes. She asked if Ambria’s had any interaction with him. No. She asked if Ambria has talked to her friends. No. Emily asked about roller derby. Ambria doesn’t know but guesses they are canceled.

Emily told her school hasn’t been canceled yet. Emily doesn’t know if something will happen the week after. Emily said the schools are short on supplies. Ambria said probably but she hasn’t been. Emily said she doesn’t go much unless she has to. She got pet food recently so she doesn’t need that. The dog got a haircut. Emily described it to Ambria.

Ambria said it’s windy here today. Emily said she could get a kite. Emily said she used to do that occasionally growing up. She said it was fun. Emily asked if she can skate by herself somewhere. Ambria said she skates in the parking lot. Ambria thinks she might do that some. Emily said people might be intimidated by her because she looks fierce.

Emily said there’s a random dog barking. She thinks it belongs to a neighbor. She said all the neighbors have Jack Russel Terriers. She said there are cats upstairs and you hear them running. Ambria told her we live next to babies. Emily asked if she hears lots of crying. Not really. She said they sometimes yell and you can hear their music playing.

Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s doing OK. She said they had tacos one time but sometimes they have food that’s not good. Emily tells her they tried. Emily thinks it must be hard deciding what to make. She had bologna and cheese sandwich the day before yesterday. Reda raved about that. Ambria said to tell her hi and she loves her.

Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily said she hopes she has a good time over the next few days. Emily asked if she’s played any games. Ambria told her about the game she and I played together. Emily said she might get better at it while she’s off. Emily said to let her know if she wants her to send anything.
