Emily asked how school went. Ambria said they met with their link groups in advisory. Emily asked how that went. Ambria said they only had one thing planned to do and then they all sat there. Emily said, “That works out.”

Emily asked if they do mock voting in history class. No. Ambria said they did something like it last year where they all got to be senators. Emily said maybe they will do it in November. Ambria doesn’t know. She doesn’t think they will in World History. Ambria said they might do it in her junior year American government class.

Emily asked if Ambria is snacking on marshmallows. Ambria showed her the bag so she would know what her snack is. Emily said, “Those look tasty.”

Ambria told her she got an A on her Islam test. She turned in her math take-home test on time, so she got to correct it to 100 after missing half of one of the problems.

Emily asked about her health class. Ambria said it’s good. They’re starting a unit on healthy relationships. Tomorrow, they’re going to watch an episode of a dating show. Friday, they are playing a game. Emily said, “That sounds interesting.”

Emily said it got into the low 60s there. Emily got a call which caused her to cut out on Skype. Emily asked the last thing Ambria heard. Ambria told her she heard the temperature. Emily said the time changes this weekend. Ambria said, “It does?”

Ambria told her it’s warm and sunny with a light breeze which makes it feel nice. Emily said she didn’t have a big heavy jacket. Ambria said she wore a hoodie but got warm in that.

Ambria said she has practice. Emily asked how it will go. Ambria thinks they will do a bunch of laps. Emily asked if the bout is on Sunday. Ambria told her it’s on Saturday. Emily asked if she has to rush to get ready or has an easy morning. Ambria said it’s easy because it doesn’t start until 6pm. Emily said, “Good.” Emily asked if she eats a special meal. No, but they’re supposed to drink a lot of water. Emily asked if she does. Ambria said she always forgets.

Emily said the soccer moms when she played soccer brought orange slices. She said it was weird. She said she didn’t use much energy when she played. She just watched the ball. Emily said she played defense and had an important job. She was a goalkeeper.

Ambria told her they had a quiz in math today on the Pythagorean theorem. Not many people finished, so they will work on it tomorrow. Emily asked how she did. Ambria “did good.”

Emily asked about language arts. Ambria said they’re going to start reading Romeo and Juliet. Emily said she liked it and asked if Ambria will. Ambria said she’s read it before. Emily said she got really into it. They had to write a small paper on it citing sources.

Emily commented on her nails and asked if they were black or purple. Emily asked why she did black. Ambria said she just wanted to.

Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at February 26, 2020 3:23 PM.
