The first call did not connect. Skype said the connection was too weak. Our connection tested fine.
The next call connected. Emily said good morning and asked Ambria if she could hear her. Yes. She asked if she could see her. Yes.
Emily asked what she’s been doing the last couple of days. Ambria went grocery shopping yesterday. Emily asked if she got anything fun. Ambria said no, but she corrected it to tell her about the giant chocolate bar. Emily said she would have to look for that. Emily asked something about trips. Ambria said no.
Emily asked if she goes back to school on Monday. Yes. Ambria said she hates it.
Emily said around Christmas she got some Ritz Bits. She left them on the table and the cat got into them and mushed them up. The cat threw them up all over the house. Emily did the same thing and the same thing happened again.
Emily told her the dog is ringing the bell because she wants to go out. Emily won’t take her out because she’s been out twice today.
Emily asked if Ambria has practice this week. Yes. Monday, Wednesday, and the bout next weekend. Emily asked if it’s going to be one of the main bouts or just an extra one. Ambria said it’s just a normal bout. Emily asked if she’s saying she’s not special. They both laughed. Emily said she was joking and said it wasn’t a very funny joke. She said it was mean of her.
Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s doing OK. On Thursday night, she said she was ready to eat supper. She got dizzy. The room wasn’t spinning, but she saw flashes of light. Emily got her a Coke. Emily isn’t sure what happened. She woke up the next day and felt better. Emily doesn’t think it’s anything. Emily said “sometimes everybody just feels weird for a few minutes.” Emily wanted to tell her about it.
Emily said she’s sorry for all the jingling. The dog is wearing her Christmas sweater. The dog was biting her hand. The dog could be heard growling. Emily saw another dog in a store. The girl with the dog walked by her and it wasn’t as cute up close. It was similar to Panda. She said it needed a bath. Emily said Panda looks that way too but isn’t dirty.
Emily asked if she’s heard of frosty paws. She got them and gave them to the dog and cat. She said they’re too skinny and trying to gain weight. She had them on a diet and made them too skinny. Emily told Ambria she recommends not eating them.
Emily asked if she had homework to do over the break. Ambria said she had a tiny bit but already finished it. Emily said good for her.
Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. She said she wants to go. Emily said she’ll talk to her on Wednesday and hopes her back to school goes well.
