Emily asked how she is. Good. Emily asked how school was. Good. They did a big project for language arts. They had a test on Islam Friday. How did it go? Ambria thinks it went “good.”
Emily didn’t find the little kitten. She looked for it a few more times and guesses it wondered away. Emily wished she could find it. She hopes someone else got it or it’s safe.
Ambria told her mid-winter break is this week. Emily asked what she’s going to do. She doesn’t know. Emily asked if she has any plans. No response. Emily said it’s nice she gets a break when the semeester starts.
Emily asked how health is going. Ambria said they just finished a project. Emily asked if she had to present it to the class. No. Emily said that’s good. Emily asked if the peole in class are the same as her PE class. Mostly.
Emliiy asked about roller derby practice. They practiced a lot of reforming in front of the jammer. Emily asked if she found out about the Portland bout. Ambria told her they’re coming here. Emily asked if it’s a different team. Ambria said they play on a lot of different teams. Emliy asked if she’s not on the same team as last year. She is. Emily asked if this team is part of that one. Emily asked when that bout is. The 29th. Emily asked if not everyone on the team will be going. That’s right.
Emily asked about her plans for today. Ambria didn’t know of any. Tomorrow she has a scrimmage. Emily asked if that’s with the other team that’s “like you guys.” Emily asked why there are two. Ambria said one is better. Emily asked if it’s like an A and B team. Yes. Ambria told her sometimes they won’t actually play with the better team. They’ll switch off doing jams so they don’t have to play with them. Emily asked if it’s a big practice for everyone. Yes. Emily said that makes sense.
Emily said she had “the critters fed.” Half are asleep and half are awake. The cat hasn’t gotten out anymore.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s OK. Nothing to report. Reda told Emily she feels like she’s getting weaker. Emily thinks that might be true but it’s not substantial. Emily said that’s good. Ambria told her to tell Reda hi and she loves her. Reda tells Emily what they have to eat.
Ambria searched for something to say.
Emily asked if she’s shopped any more at Trader Joe’s. Yes. Emily asked if she got any more speckled treats (?). No. Ambria told her they will probably go tomorrow.
Emily asked if there’s an event she’s going to this weekend. Ambria said she doesn’t think so. Emily asked if there weren’t any events this weekend. Ambria said there were. The farmers market happens every weekend.
Emily can’t think of anything different she did this week except for the cat situation.
Ambria told her their math teacher said the rest of February and March is supposed to be the worst part of the year. Emily asked in what respect. Ambria doesn’t know. Ambria thought it would have been the beginning of February and January, but she guesses that’s not it. Emily said maybe it won’t be tood bad. Ambria hopes not.
Ambria said she was ready to go. Emily said she would talk Wednesday. She asked if mid-winter break starts this week. Yes. They ended the call at February 15, 2020 9:08 AM.
