Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria said she had breakfast. What? Cereal. What kind? Trader Joe’s Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Emily has been trying different kinds of cereal. She doesn’t like Honey Bunches of Oats. She likes the new Cheerios with cinnamon.
Emily asked about school. Ambria said it’s been going OK. She said they haven’t done too much. She told her she did well about the math and science finals. Emily asked if she was nervous about them. No. Emily said she must have been thinking about herself.
Ambria told her they’re doing an algebra review test in geometry that’s due a long time from now. Emily asked if they do that amidst the other work they’re doing for the class. Yes.
Emily asked about history. Ambria said it’s good. They haven’t done much. A few days ago, they had to read some documents and answer questions about them. Emily said that doesn’t sound too bad.
Emily asked if Ambria is feeling OK. Yes. Emily said she thought she might be sad last time. Ambria didn’t say anything. Emily said she wanted to see if she’s OK. Ambria said she’s OK.
Ambria told her yesterday was her friend Ava’s birthday. Emily asked if she had a party. No. Emily said maybe she’ll have one later. Ambria said she doesn’t really have them. Emily asked if she came to Ambria’s party. Yes.
Emily asked how the health class is going and if they’ve gone into the PSAs. Ambria said they had a substitute the last two days and watched a movie.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s doing OK. Emily thinks she’s getting a little weaker. She said it’s not necessarily a bad thing; just normal. It takes her an hour or more to eat lunch. Still holding the water in her mouth for a little while before she swallows it. Emily doesn’t mention it. She’s not choking but it takes her a long time to do things. Ambria said to tell her hi and she loves her. Emily said she wanted some coffee with just cream. Emily got that for her. Reda said it wasn’t very good. They don’t offer coffee and she forgets she can ask for it. Emily thinks it’s funny. She only took a few sips of the coffee she got her.
Emily said it rained hard and there was some flooding at a park she used to go to. Emily enjoys walking there when it’s not too hot for some extra exercise. The school closed for a few days. At Emily’s apartment it wasn’t flooded. Ambria told her it’s been raining some the past few days, but she thinks it will be sunny this weekend. Emily asked if she’s going to do anything.
Emily asked why she’s had so much to do over the past few days. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Emily asked if she’s trying to get caught up from last semester. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she’s all caught up now. Ambria said she is. Emily asked if she’s going back to practice this week.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily asked if she’s gotten anything in the mail. Ambria said she got a Valentine’s Day card. Emily asked when. Ambria didn’t remember but it was a few days ago. They ended the call at February 8, 2020 9:09 AM.
