We emailed Emily the night before to reschedule this call so that Ambria could make it to Saturday school on time.

Emily asked what Saturday school is. Ambria told her about it. Emily asked why she’s going. Ambria told her she has a project to do for history and she has to study for her finals.

Emily turned on a light. She said they’re supposed to have bad storms today around 1pm. Emily said she drove around earlier and the wind was pushing the car around.

Ambria said we have snow in our forecast. Emily said maybe she’ll get a snow day. Ambria said she hopes they don’t because they might have to go into the summer to make it up. Emily said she hopes she’ll get enough to use her snow days. Ambria isn’t sure they have any. Emily said she hopes we get a couple of flakes. Ambria said we got some on Thursday.

Emily asked if she misses the snow from Tennessee. No. Emily doesn’t think she would either. Ambria said it’s fun to play in if there’s enough but otherwise it’s just cold. Emily said if there is enough, you get stuck.

Emily asked where the hoodie came from. Ambria got it for Christmas. Emily asked if her earrings have been changed out yet. No, we’re going back next month because hers aren’t healed.

Emily asked if she had breakfast. Yes. Emily asked if she’s about to catch the bus. Ambria said at 8:15. Emily asked if the ride is 45 minutes. No, but that’s the latest one that gets there on time.

Ambria told her they played badminton in PE. Emily asked if she’s teaching everyone how to play. Ambria said she’s been bad at it because she was used to playing with tennis rackets. Ambria is getting better though. She and Stella had one win the first day but yesterday went on a 5-win streak. Emily said maybe that will be continue. Emily said that’s neat; she didn’t know it was a sport people play. Emily asked if she’s played croquet. Emily said it’s a weird game. After badminton, they’re doing fitness testing. Emily asked if she has to do better. Ambria said you’re supposed to. They can get the same but they want to do better.

Emily showed her a plant. She said she needs to give up on it. She’s going to work on it, give it some plant food.

Emily was going to bring Panda for the call but she’s somewhere else. She has to have an allergy shot soon. Emily asked if she told her about the last time. It was traumatic for her. They jabbed it into her bone. Emily said she’s giving her this one. She’s never administered shots for animals. She’ll see what happens.

Ambria said to tell Reda hi and she loves her. She will and she’ll tell her about badminton.
