We emailed Emily December 6, 2019 6:49 AM via email to ask if we could change the call time to December 7, 2019 8:00 AM. She replied December 6, 2019 3:28 PM stating that would be OK.

Emily asked what she’s doing this morning. Ambria said she’s about to go to Olympia. Emily asked what she’s going to do. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily asked how long the drive is. Ambria thinks it’s an hour.
Emily asked if Ambria’s drink is a smoothie. Ambria told her it’s a raspberry Italian soda.
Ambria told her next Friday is their exam on magnetism. Emily asked if she thinks it will be hard. Ambria thinks it will be fine. Ambria changed it to a quiz.
Ambria told her she has an exam if French on Friday. Ambria told her they’re starting a book club. Emily asked what that is. Ambria told her they have groups in LA and each group has a book. Ambria told her they’re reading the Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. Emily wasn’t familiar with it. She asked if they have to do a report. Ambria doesn’t know yet.
Emily asked how roller derby practice was Wednesday. Ambria said they practice offense and reforming after they get mixed up.
Emily said she noticed updates on the Christmas list. Emily asked about her clothing size to clarify what size she needs. Ambria first thought the women’s extra small but she’s not sure if she should get juniors size. Ambria said she would look into it. Emily asked what the little shirts are for. Ambria said she just likes the shirt.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s about the same. She’s going to go see her tomorrow. It’s not supposed to tomorrow. Ambria told her it’s raining here today. Emily asked if it will rain in Olympia. Ambria thinks so but not as much. Emily gave her the forecast. Ambria said it had been cold in the mornings, but it’s been warming up. Emily said they’d had snow recently. Ambria said we’re supposed to have it in the next few months. Emily said she hopes Ambria gets out of school. Ambria said she hopes not too much. Emily recalled the blizzard in ‘93. Ambria recalled when she got out for 2 weeks straight in 3rd grade. They talked about snowy and icy weather and how it affects school schedules.
Emily asked what she will wear today. She sees the hoodie Ambria is wearing. She guessed yoga pants with those. No. She guessed skinny jeans. Yes. She tried to describe them and mostly got it right. She guessed Ambria will wear her Etnies.
Ambria said she wants to go. Emily thanked her for calling and said she hopes she has a good time. They ended the call at December 7, 2019 8:09 AM .
