Ambria called Emily on Skype. The call rang for a full minute. Emily did not answer.
Ambria tried again at November 6, 2019 3:14 PM. The call rang again for about 30 seconds when Emily answered.
Emily asked what Ambria was eating. She’s snacking on corn puffs.
Emily asked about the party on Saturday. Ambria told her it was good. S/he told her about playing Mario Kart with Kit. Emily asked what kind of cake. Ambria told her it was chocolate with vanilla bean filling. Emily asked if it was very vanilla. Ambria told her it was pretty strong.
Emily said it’s getting dark at about 6pm there and she doesn’t like that. Ambria told her it’s doing that here.
Emily told her the cat is sleeping beside her.
Emily asked about school. Ambria told her about a history test and a math quiz. Emily asked how they went. Ambria told her she thinks they went well. Ambria told her they’re having a test in Science on Friday over everything they’ve learned so far.
Emily asked about the skating on Saturday. Ambria said it was good. Emily asked if she out-skated them all. Ambria said she outskated Kit and a bunch of little kids. Emily asked how. Ambria said by not lying on the ground.
Emily asked if she got gifts from them. Ambria told her McKenzie is giving her a gift this weekend, and Kit’s gift is still in the mail.
Emily asked if Ambria has practice tonight. Ambria said she doesn’t. Ambria told her she’s going to the food bank. Emily asked if she gets to do that often. Ambria said not really. She said they didn’t have practice last Wednesday but she was busy with homework.
Emily asked about practice. Ambria said they had a scrimmage. Emily asked if she’s “more forceful” this year. Ambria said yes.
Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s “about the same.” She doesn’t think she’s had any more falls. Emily told her Ambria liked the card. Reda replied “OK.” Emily said that means, “good” even though she doesn’t say that.
Emily showed Ambria the cat and looked for the dog to show Ambria that too. Emily asked if she should get the dog a new bed for Christmas. Ambria said maybe. She asked if Emily didn’t just get her one last year. Emily said she did.
Emily said Ambria’s shirt is pretty. Ambria told her she got it at Target. Emily said she went to some thrift stores but didn’t find anything. She’ll try again. Ambria said she’s going to buy some new pants. Emily asked if she’s buying jeans. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if they’ll be skinny jeans. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if they’re the ones that stop at the ankle. Ambria said she usually gets capri length since they are the ones that go down to her ankles. Emily asked what size shoes. Ambria answered with her pants size. Emily asked about the shoe size. Ambria said 3-5. She explained the different sizes she has. Emily seemed skeptical. Emily asked what size most people wear. Ambria said people with small feet wear size 6. Emily asked if hers are smaller than small. Ambria shook her head. Emily said they will grow. Ambria said maybe but not a lot.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily said she’s glad she’s getting to go back to the food bank. They ended the call at November 6, 2019 3:26 PM.
