Emily wished Ambria good morning and told her she looked bright eyed. Emily asked if it’s cold. Ambria told her it’s in the low 40s. Emily said it is there too. She said she doesn’t like it.
Emily asked if she went trick-or-treating. Ambria said yes. Emily asked what she did. Ambria said she went with Ava, Kit, Leah, and her friend Max. Emily asked if she wore the outfit. Ambria said she did. Emily asked if she wore the contacts. Ambria said she didn’t. She tried them again but still couldn’t get them in. Emily said, “Yeah. Hard, huh?”
Ambria told her the end of the quarter is Wednesday. Emily asked what that means and if she gets her grades. Ambria told her most classes have rolling grades and just keep adding on to the grades.
Emily asked if her party is still on. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if that’s in the afternoon. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she has an outfit picked out for it. Ambria said she didn’t. Emily asked if she will get gifts from them. Ambria isn’t sure. Emily said she’s going to go skating. Ambria said yes. And you’re going to have pizza. Ambria said yes again. Ambria told her she got her cake yesterday — chocolcate with a vanilla bean filling, with her name in red. Emily said, “That sounds like a pretty good cake.”
Emily asked if anyone sang to her at school on Monday. Ambria said no. Emily said they should.
Amberia told her they’re having a scrimmage at roller derby tomorrow with a mash-up of teams. Emily asked if she’s more prepared and skilled this year. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if they have a team captain. Ambria said they change every game. Emily asked if she’s ever been that. Ambria said no. Emily asked if she wants to be. Ambria’s reply was inaudible.
Emily said it’s 42 and gets into the 30s overnight. Ambria told her it was sunny yesterday and is sunny now.
Emily said she’s holding the dog and it’s grumbling. Ambria told her she just choked on her cereal.
Ambria said she and her partner have to present on Monday. Emily asked which class. Ambria told her history. They’re doing a project on criminal justice. Emily said that sounds like “a very neat topic.” She asked if Ambria enjoyed it. Ambria said it was interesting. Emily asked if the presentation is in front of the class. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she hates that. Ambria said she doesn’t like nor hate it. Emily said she’s glad Ambria is in the middle.
Emily said someone’s pet fox is running around. She thinks that is weird. She found out it was someone’s pet and very friendly. Emily hopes someone won’t get it and be mean to it. Emily said they are very destructive when they’re in a home. She thinks that may be why the owner turned it out.
Emily said Panda the dog wants to be in the call, so she showed her to Ambria. They talked and laughed about the dog.
Emily commented on Ambria’s hoodie. Ambria said she got it for her birthday. Emily said she’s glad she had a good birthday and she guesses it’s winding down.
Ambria asked Emily to tell Reda hi and she loves her.
