Emily told her her shirt was a pretty color. She asked about school. Ambria said it was good. She said they didn’t do much because juniors and sophomores were taking their state tests. Emily said that was good for her.
Ambria told her they got back the math test they did a couple of weeks ago and she got a 48/50. She got a 22.5/23 on the science test. Emily said that was good.
Emily asked if she has heard any of the new Halsey songs. Emily told her the name of it. She said it’s “not a very crazy song.”
Emily asked what size shoe she wears. Ambria told her it depends but it’s about a 4 or a 5.
Emily got cut off when someone tried calling her and interrupted the Skype call.
Emily asked if she ever got the video of her doing the acting class stuff. Ambria said yes and she would send her a link. Emily said there was something else but she can’t remember it. Ambria said she will try to do that today.
Ambria said they haven’t had PE for the last two days since they’ve been setting up and giving the test. Emily guessed they set it up there so they can have everyone in a single room.
Emily asked if it was looking like fall. Ambria said the trees are changing. Emily said they don’t have leaves changing there yet. Ambria told her it was raining this morning, but it was nearly stopped when she left for school. Emily asked if she has to wear rain boots. Ambria said no. She said she wears a rain jacket. Emily asked about an umbrella. Ambria said no.
Emily said it sounds like school is going “pretty good” and asked her hardest class. Ambria said it’s history. Emily guessed they have to memorize dates and other facts. Ambria said that’s not it; they’re talking about problems happening in the world. Emily said, “OK.” Emily asked if they have to do public speaking or group projects. Ambria said they haven’t done any of it yet.
Emily asked about derby practice. Ambria old her they did bean dips and described how they did them. Emily said, “Mmm-hmm. OK.” She asked if the skates were still OK. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she had to buy them last year. Ambria said yes at first and then said it may have been two years ago.
Emily asked if she’s getting to wear her new flannel shirts. She asked if Ambria wore leggings or jeans. She asked if Ambria wore her entries. Ambria said yes. Emily asked what most people wear. Ambria said skinny jeans and she doesn’t know otherwise. She said they wear anything you can buy at Zumiez. Emily asked what that is. She said she hasn’t heard of it.
Emily asked if Ambria has been to Whole Foods anymore. She said not since last time. Emily said she’d just walk to it when she wanted. Ambria said we still shop at Trader Joe’s.
Ambria said to tell Reda she loves her. Emily said she got her letter for Reda and she’s going to check on the cats at her house.
Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at October 16, 2019 3:24 PM.
