They said their hellos. Emily said she was outside walking the dog. She asked Ambria to guess the weather. Ambria asked what it was. Emily said it’s 50. She asked about Ambria’s weather. Ambria told her yesterday the high was in the mid 60s and it was sunny.
She asked if Ambria heard her wind chime. It has an owl on it and Reda got it for her because she knows she likes owls. Ambria asked if it’s because of the inflatable owl. Emily said probably. Reda said, “Do you remember that time?” and Emily said, “Yes, I remember that time.” Emily thought it looked pretty good except for the owl.
Emily commented that Ambria has a sweatshirt on like she does. She’s putting the dog away. Ambria said hi to the dog and laughed. Emily asked if Panda is her sister. Ambria said yes. Emily apologized.
Emily said the dog feels better since she got the tooth fixed and treatment for her skin condition.
Ambria told her they have a math test sometime next week and didn’t have school yesterday because it was an inservice day. Emily said that was good. Ambria told her she has roller derby practice on Monday. Emily asked if that’s Monday and Wednesday. Ambria said it is.
Ambria told her a new Whole Foods opened near where we live. Emily said that was exciting and that she likes Whole Foods. Emily said she hasn’t tried any new Trader Joes stuff in a while since she hasn’t been “quite that far down” in Knoxville.
Emily said she re-potted one of her plants. She said she will have to bring them in if the weather stays like this.
Emily asked what Ambria usually gets at Whole Foods. Ambria said she hasn’t gone much. She went to look around yesterday. Emily asked if they were giving any samples. Ambria said they had a bunch of samples. She told about the moondrop grapes. Emily asked if those are the ones that are supposed to taste like cotton candy. Ambria told her those are cotton candy grapes. Emily said she has seen the moondrop grapes but hasn’t tried them. She thought they were the same thing. Ambria told her the cotton candy are green and moondrop are really dark.
Emily asked if roller derby practice was Monday. Ambria said it was. Emily asked if it’s the same stuff they did last year. Ambria told her they’ve been doing duck walks a lot. Emily said it sounded hard. Emily asked if she feels like she’s back to her “normal skating status.” Ambria said yes. Ambria said she skated at the park yesterday with Kit. Emily asked who Kit is. Ambria told her that’s the friend in the band. Emily asked if she’s a good skater. Ambria told her she didn’t skate.
Ambria told her they’re done with ultimate frisbee and moving on to flag football. Emily asked if she likes that. Ambria saidshe doesn’t know how to throw or catch the football.
Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s “about the same.” She said they’re not doing arm therapy. They’re still having her get up and down out of her chair. Emily called the neurologist and told them they have stopped therapy. The neuro told her there’s a waiting period between therapy orders. They also have a limit on the number of therapy orders per year. Emily said she could do it on her own but doesn’t know to. Emily said they have an aerobics class.
Ambria said to tell her hi and she loves her. Emily said she sent the same message. Emily said she loves her too. They ended the call at October 12, 2019 9:10 AM.
