Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria said she got home a few minutes ago. Emily asked how the bus was. Ambria said it was crowded but didn’t pass them.

Emily asked about tryouts on Sunday. Ambria said she didn’t skate but made the team. Emily asked why she didn’t skate. Ambria said she talked to an EMT who said it was a good idea for her not to. Emily asked if she has to make up the tryout. Ambria said she doesn’t.

Emily asked if she watched anyone else skate and if people from last year are back. Ambria answered yes to both. Ambria told her how many people tried out. Emily asked if everyone gets a spot. Ambria doesn’t know. Emily asked when first practice is. Ambria told her it’s Monday.

Ambria told her she had two quizzes today. Emily asked which classes. Ambria told her geometry (on copying angles and line segments) and science. They got to use their notes. Emily said “It’s always nice to use notes.”

Emily asked if this week is spirit week. Ambria said yes. Emily asked what today was: college and pro sports. Emily asked if she dressed up. Ambria didn’t. Emily asked about Monday. Ambria told her the other days and what she wore. Emily asked if Friday is school spirit day. Ambria said yes, and tomorrow is fraternity or sorority day. Ambria’s going to dress up like a frat boy and have people call her Bryce. She had to explain it to Emily. Emily asked her school colors. Ambria told her they’re blue and gold. Emily said they were nice school colors. Ambria told her they’ve been her colors at most of her schools.

Ambria said she isn’t sure what she wants to wear on Friday. It’s blue vs. gold. She’ll probably find something blue to wear. Emily asked why not gold. Ambria said she doesn’t have anything gold. She might wear her West Seattle shirt. Emily tried to ask her about the school mascot but couldn’t come up with the word. Ambria helped her. They named all the mascots she’s had over the years.

Emily asked how French is going. Ambria said they have a quiz or a test Friday. Emily asked if they’re doing the basic terms and definitions. Ambria said yes.

Ambria told her they’re writing an essay in History class about desertification and drought. They have to turn it in online at 11am. Emily made fun of that. Ambria explained it was so they wouldn’t lose papers.

Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said they’re not doing physical therapy because she had plateaued. She’s on restorative therapy. Emily said she still walks 5 days per week. They don’t do arm therapy anymore. Emily said the therapy was becoming “useless.” Emily said she’s going to see what she can do about that. Probably nothing she can do. Other than that, Reda is doing fine. Tomorrow is ice cream day. Emily said she will see what she has.

Panda goes to the vet on Friday for teeth cleaning.

Ambria told her to tell Reda she loves her. She said she wants to go. Emily asked if the EMT thought it was a concussion. Ambria said he didn’t do any tests. They ended the call at October 2, 2019 3:26 PM.
