Ambria attempted to call Emily. Skype said she wasn’t online. She tried again at Aug 21, 2019 9:00 AM. Emily said for some reasons the first call didn’t come through. Ambria said they would change the call back next week.
Emily asked if she got the knitting bag. Ambria said she did and showed it to her. Emily noticed she already had some things in it and asked if it will work. Ambria said yes and thanked her.
Ambria told her the Weird Al concert was fun. Emily asked her some questions about it. Ambria told her he came out on a Segway for one of the songs.
She told her she got her ears pierced on Sunday. Emily said she thought she noticed that. Emily asked what she thought about it. Ambria said it didn’t hurt that bad. She said it will heal in 4-6 months. Emily said that seemed about right. Emily asked where she went. Ambria told her she went to Pierced Hearts. Emily asked if she was nervous. Ambria said yes. Emily said she bets her heart was beating.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s about the same. She started physical therapy for her hand. They have her walking more than she was. She thinks she’s wearing a brace. She’s not sure because she hasn’t seen it on her. She doesn’t think she has to wear it all the time — just a couple of hours a day. Emily doesn’t think that’s right. It’s to keep it from curling up due to lack of use. Reda can still straighten it out but her muscles are weak. Emily hopes it will get stronger with the therapy.
Emily asked if she got through with the acting camp. Ambria said yes.
Ambria told her she sent a link to her Etsy store. Emily said she would look at it. Ambria said she doesn’t have much stuff on there yet, but she’s coming up with more ideas. Emily asked how she’s coming up with the ideas. Ambria said she already has some. She told her about the holiday decorations and the apron. Emily asked about themed items for seasons. Ambria said she could needle felt decorations for that.
Emily asked if she’s glad she got her ears pierced. Ambria said yes. Emily said it didn’t hurt that bad. Ambria said it only hurts now if she touches them. Emily asked when she got it done. Ambria told her Sunday.
Ambria told her she got her folders at Target. She told her how she had probably mis-interpreted the list. She’s planning to return the rest. Emily thinks she was right the first time. Ambria said she’ll find out when school starts. Emily asked if that’s two weeks away. Ambria said yes.
The dog barked and Emily pointed it out. They joked about what it was barking at. Emily said she needs to get her teeth cleaned. They are in bad shape. She tried her on a new treat- blueberries. She likes them and frozen green beans. Anything else makes her sick.
Ambria said she wants to go. They ended the call at August 21, 2019 9:09 AM.
