Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria told her she’s eating breakfast. Emily said she’s sitting outside on her porch, enjoying the hot weather. She thinks she’s the only one who enjoys it. It’s 85 there and getting into the mid 90s. Ambria told her it’s kinda cold now but getting up to the mid 70s.
Emily asked what cereal she’s having. Ambria showed her. Emily said she’s thinking of going kayaking. Ambria said she’s bad at it. Emily said she went a couple of weeks ago and enjoyed it. She said she was really bad her first time. Emily said she went around in circles. She said she doesn’t run into people or things now.
Ambria said she kayaked at camp. She went in circles after they pushed her off and couldn’t get back. Someone had to come get here, and she hasn’t tried it since. Emily said they shouldn’t go together or they’ll never get back.
Ambria told her the acting class ended yesterday. Emily asked how it went. Ambria said it was good, and they had a performance that went well. Emily asked what she did. Ambria said they did vocal warmups and a Shakespeare quote to say. They did some games, and they each had a scene to do with one other person. Ambria told about her scene in which she was a girl named Rachel who is a goth. Emily said, “OK.” Emily asked if they picked their own quotes. Ambria said they were assigned but they could pick a new one. Emily asked hers. Ambria told her. Emily asked what it’s from. Ambria didn’t know. Emily didn’t either. Emily asked how many people were watching. Ambria said about 10. Emily said that’s not too bad. She asked if Ambria was nervous. Ambria was at first but she stopped. Emily said she could never stop and calm down. She hopes Ambria won’t have that problem because it was hard for her. Ambria offered to send her a video and a link to her music video. Emily said she appreciated it. She had hoped there was a way for her to see it.
She told Ambria not to look at the spider friends behind her.
Ambria told her she’s going to a concert tonight. Emily asked who. Ambria told her to guess. She started asking questions. She asked what type. Ambria told her it’s at a theater. Emily said she had no idea. Ambria told her Weird Al. Emily said, “Really? Oh that’s neat.” She asked if Ambria’s excited. She said she is, and told her he has a big orchestra with him. Emily asked which theater, a big one downtown? Ambria told her the Paramount.
Emily asked if she has fancy nails. Ambria said they’re the same.
Emily asked if Ambria got her email about the knitting bag. Ambria said she hasn’t looked at it yet.
Ambria told her she got the Etsy store running. Emily asked what it is. Ambria told her what it’s called. So far, she’s selling all the crafts she has made. She’s going to come up with other things to do. Emily asked how she’s going to get word out. Ambria isn’t sure. Emily asked why she chose the name. Ambria shrugged. Emily asked who calls her Bri. Ambria said McKenzie. Emily asked what she calls her. Ambria told her Kenz sometimes.
Emily showed Ambria one of her plants — her “most healthiest” one. She said she won’t show her the one that’s dying. She said she has too many plants on her plant stand.
