Emily emailed August 9, 2019 7:19 PM to ask if we could reschedule the call the following morning to 10am instead of 9am. Ambria replied that would be fine.
Emily asked what Ambria’s doing? Ambria told her she just got out of the shower. Emily asked if she already dried her hair. Ambria said she didn’t wash it.
Emily asked Ambria about art camp. Ambria corrected her that it is acting camp. Emily said she knew that. Ambria told her they’ve been talking about what parts they are going to play in the performance.
Ambria told her it’s rainy today. Emily said it’s not there and that it’s 85-90. Ambria told her it would stop raining and be in the 70s later.
Emily asked what she has planned today. Ambria said nothing. She then said she might make some cookies.
Emily asked how felting is coming along. Ambria said she’s not made anything but has taken pictures of some of her items to sell. Emily said to tell her when her shop is set up.
Emily asked if she’s still talking to the friends at acting camp. Ambria said yes.
Ambria told her school starts in a little over 3 weeks. Emily asked her first day. Ambria said 9/4. Emily asked if she’s ready. Ambria said she still needs some school supplies. Emily asked if she’s excited. Ambria said that and nervous. Emily said she remembers being nervous. Ambria said there’s supposed to be an orientation but we haven’t heard about it yet.
Emily asked when she takes French. Ambria said she’ll take it for the whole year if that’s the elective she gets. Emily asked about the math class. Ambria said it’s the whole year too. Emily asked about her 8th grade math. Ambria said it can count for high school.
Emily asked about PE. Ambria said they have to take 1 semester of that and 1 of health. Emily asked if she has language arts. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if they will have a class pet in science. Ambria said maybe. Emily said she hopes it doesn’t disappear.
Ambria searched for something else to say.
Emily said she saw Reda last week. She said they went outside to look at tomato plants. She talked about the food she ate. Emily took her a coffee, and Reda wasn’t crazy about it. It was a blueberry coffee. Emily thinks she doesn’t like coffee as much anymore. She said she’ll try a milkshake like Ambria suggested.
Ambria said her tomato plants are all dead and all but one of her pepper plants. Emily asked why. Ambria thinks she kept them inside too long. Emily said she’s having problems with a fern. She thinks she put it outside too long. She said it’s coming back. Ambria said one pepper plant is doing OK and the mixed greens are doing really well. Ambria told her she still has seeds for next year. She showed them to Emily. Emily talked about her wallflower seeds.
Ambria asked Emily to tell Reda hello and said she wants to go. They ended the call at August 10, 2019 10:08 AM.
