Emily asked if Ambria is getting ready for acting camp. Ambria said yes. Emily asked how it’s going. Ambria said it’s fun. Emily asked what they do. Ambria told her yesterday they worked on character development. They had to pick a face and make up a story about two people meeting. They do a lot of improv and she likes it. Emily said, “Oh really?” She’s glad Ambria likes it. She asked if Ambria is nervous. Ambria said she’s not anymore.
Emily asked about her cereal. Ambria said it’s Trader Joe’s Cocoa Crunch.
Emily asked if they serve lunch. Ambria said they don’t since it starts at 12:30. She eats before she goes. Emily asked if they’re going to perform at the end. Ambria said it’s mostly just to teach them, but they might put on a little show. Ambria told her there are only 7 others. Emily asked if they’re her age. Ambria said yes, and she already knew two of them. Emily asked if they’re going to go to her school. Ambria said yes. She said she knew one of the people she was already friends with was going to be there, but the other one was a surprise.
Emily asked if she braided her own hair. Ambria said she did but it’s not very good. She said she did it so it makes her hair wavy. Emily asked if she did it last night. Ambria said she does it in the morning or else it goes flat.
Emily clarified Ambria’s going to volunteer tonight. Ambria said she is and she’s going straight from camp. Emily asked if it’s far. Ambria said about 15 minutes.
Emily said the mowers are there today and it might get loud. Ambria said she hadn’t heard anything. Emily said the blower makes a mess for her. Ambria said that was funny.
Emily said the cat is in the dog’s bed. She said the dog has trash in her beard. She brought the dog to the camera for Ambria. Emily said she’s still having issues with worms. Emily crunches them when she walks.
Ambria told her acting camp ends next Friday. Emily asked how long each day. Ambria told her 3 hours. Emily asked what she’s doing today. Ambria doesn’t know. She thinks they may do more character development.
Emily asked what other camps she has planned. Ambria told her she was going to do skateboard camp again, but it overlapped with acting. Emily asked if she’s been doing any more outdoor activities. Ambria said no but she’s doing needle felting. Emily said she looked that up and it didn’t look too hard. Ambria said she thought the same thing until she tried it. She tried to make an owl that turned out to be a pickle. She told her about the stars she made. Emily asked why one is more difficult. Ambria said she thinks the 3D objects like the owl are harder. She told her she also made flowers. Emily asked what she’s going to do with them. Ambria said she’s thinking of selling them on Etsy. Emily said to let her know if she gets it up and running.
