Emily asked about her trip to San Diego. Ambria walked her through the whole thing — the conference, meals, and the teen activities. She told her she learned about budgeting. Her memory of the whole thing was pretty remarkable.
After Ambria told her about the pool party, Emily asked if she swam. Ambria told her she did.
Ambria told her about walking around San Diego on Monday before our flight. She told her about the magic shop and the bird.
Emily told Ambria she almost got a bird for her first pet but she was worried about killing it.
Ambria told her about going to souvenir shops and showed her the San Diego hoodie she got. Emily said she likes it.
Emily asked what she learned about budgeting. Ambria told her about the envelope budgeting system they learned. Emily asked if she’s going to use it. Ambria said she doesn’t get cash very often. Emily asked how it works if you have a big bill or a check. Ambria had solutions for each of them.
Emily asked Ambria about her favorite talk. Ambria told about Chalene Johnson and the guy who ran the conference’s kids. Emily asked if anyone can do the fitness thing. Ambria said yes and that she posts about it on Instagram.
Emily asked if she had a good time. Ambria said she did.
Emily asked if there were any good food trucks. Ambria told her the food trucks weren’t there because of the hotel. She told her there were restaurants in the hotel. Emily asked if she had any unique foods. Ambria described the pancakes she had for breakfast. She said her favorite meal was a ham and cheese sandwich on a pretzel bun. Emily said pretzel buns are too much bread for her.
Emily asked if her flights were good. Ambria said they were. Emily asked about snacks. Ambria said they didn’t really have them. Ambria told about the entertainment screens at the seats. Emily asked what she did with them. Ambria said she played games.
Emily said she was glad she had a good time at the conference. She asked if Ambria was going to start a business. Ambria said she’s thinking about it. She said she was going to try baking but she would have to have a license.
Ambria told her about her trip to Goodwill and showed her the items she got.
