Emily asked Ambria what she’s doing. Ambria told her she just got done babysitting. Emily asked how old the baby is. Ambria said she thinks he’s 2. Emily said that sounded like fun. Emily asked what they did. Ambria said they watched PJ Mask. Emily said that sounded like a fun thing to do.
Emily asked about Ambria’s West Seattle shirt. Ambria told her she got it at Summerfest. Emily said it was neat.
Emily said she went to visit Reda and showed her the pictures of her graduation. Reda said she was pretty. Ambria asked if Emily showed her the letter. Emily said she did and Reda had trouble reading it. Emily read it to her. Ambria asked it was too small. Emily said she took her some new reading glasses. She said she doesn’t think the print was too small.
Ambria searched for something to say. Emily told her it rained half the day. She said they’re getting rain from a hurricane in Florida. Ambria told her it just started raining a little a few minutes ago. Ambria told her it’s the coldest day with a high of 68. Emily told her it’s in the low 80s there. She said it’s not blazing hot. Ambria told her it’s been in the high 70s and is supposed to get to the low 80s soon. Emily said that’s “not horribly bad.”
Emily told Ambria she had tacos last night. She said she prefers corn tortillas because she heats them in the skillet first. Emily asked if she likes cilantro. Ambria said she guesses so. Emily said she’s getting over her aversion to it. She still doesn’t love it.
Ambria told her the big parade is this weekend. Emily asked which one. Ambria told her it’s the one that goes down our street. Emily asked if it’s a West Seattle parade. Ambria told her it’s the West Seattle Grand Parade. Emily asked if she’s going to step out and watch it. Ambria said we’ll probably have to go somewhere to watch it.
Ambria told her she got gloves to do gardening. Emily said she wanted her to come work on her garden. She asked how much Ambria charges. Ambria said $10. Emily said she can handle that. She was going to show Ambria a bloom on one of her cacti, but it fell off. Ambria took her outside to show her one of her plants. She asked if Emily could see it. Emily said she could and asked what they were. Ambria said they’re mixed greens. Emily said she likes the pots and asked where they came from. Ambria told her she got them at Rite-Aid.
Emily said an insect is eating her other plant. She said it’s stressing her out even though it’s supposed to be fun.
Ambria told her she bought 2 shirts at Summerfest. She described the other shirt with the rainbow.
Emily asked if she’s making her own breakfast. Ambria said she is and told what she’s having. Emily said it sound like she’s “having a pretty good summer.”
Emily asked if she’s using her skateboard. Ambria said she hasn’t yet but wants to.
Emily gave an update on all the pets.
Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily asked if she’s going to volunteer. Ambria said she is. Emily said she’s glad Ambria likes doing that. They ended the call at July 17, 2019 3:09 PM.
