Emily said good morning and asked how Ambria is. Ambria said good. Emily said she looked bright-eyed this morning. Emily turned her camera on.
Emily told her it’s 88 outside. Ambria told Emily it’s supposed to be in the low 70s today. Emily said that’s not bad.
Emily asked if she went to the parade. Ambria said yes. Emily asked what she saw. Ambria told her there was a marching band. Emily said she likes those. Ambria told her we saw dance teams, old cars, and boy scouts. Emily said it was a mixture of stuff then. Ambria said yes.
Ambria told her today is the pirate landing. Emily asked if she’s going again. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if that’s the third year in a row. Ambria said yes. Emily couldn’t pronounce the name of the beach so Ambria helped her. Ambria told her the big parade is soon. Emily asked if that’s the one that goes in front of the old apartment. Emily asked if it’s in front of the new apartment too. Ambria said she’s not sure but guesses it does.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily said she’s doing OK. She doesn’t believe she’s doing the restorative diet anymore since she eats in the main dining room. Emily took her outside the last time she visited to sit on the front porch. Emily told Ambria they have a big bird cage that Reda likes to watch. She said she thinks she spends a lot of time watching them. Emily tried to watch them but they wouldn’t come out for her. Emily told more about the bird cage and said she likes them even though she’s never had one.
Emily said she got some Morningstar veggie chorizo and is interested to see what she can make with it. She said she got a deal on it. She’s going to report back to Ambria on it.
Ambria told her she made carrot apple raisin muffins. Emily asked if she had one for breakfast. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if they are good. Ambria said yes, especially since she made them healthy. Emily asked about the flavor.
Ambria told her she made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies to take to the parade. Emily asked if they were to sell or just to give away. Ambria said they were for the friends we went with. Emily asked about the parade before realizing she had already been told about the parade. Emily asked if the pirate landing was tomorrow. Ambria told her it is today.
Emily asked about breakfast. Ambria told her she had the muffin, eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon. Emily asked if we have Trader Joe’s here. Ambria told her we do most of our shopping there. They traded stories about what they like there. Emily said she likes to get recommendations about what people like.
Ambria checked her watch and sighed. Emily asked what she’s been doing this week. Ambria told her she picked out some prescription sunglasses this week. Emily said she has a pair too. Ambria told her about hers. Emily said she had an option to do colored lenses but didn’t. She asked if the lenses were pink or if you see pink through them. Ambria told her the frames are pink. Emily said hers are aqua and big so they block more light. Emily said she’d never had any before and wanted some. She said it’s going well.
Ambria said she needed to go. Emily talked over her to ask if the doctor recommended that. Ambria said he did. Ambria said she wanted to go again. Emily asked if she needed to change the Wednesday time. Ambria said it’s still good. They ended the call at July 6, 2019 9:10 AM.
