Emily asked if Ambria made it home from school. Ambria said yes. Emily asked if she had graduation. Ambria told her it’s tonight. They talked about her clothes for graduation. Emily asked to see it, but Ambria said it’s in the other room. She described it. Emily asked where she got her dress and what shoes she will wear. Ambria told her JC Penney and either her black Vans or some sandals Reda got her. Emily asked if they practiced. Ambria said they did and described it. Emily asked if she gets other awards or recognition. Ambria said she doesn’t know.
Ambria told her mom she got the package of Christmas presents that was supposed to be shipped right after she came back from Christmas. That arrived this week. Emily asked if she needed more iTunes money. Ambria said she hadn’t bought anything in a while but wants to.
Ambria told her they have their Bulldog Bash on Friday. Emily asked what that is. Ambria said it’s a carnival. Emily said, “So, Friday’s the last official day?” Ambria said it’s next Thursday. Emily said she forgot.
Emily asked about testing. Ambria said she’s still finishing math final. Emily said she shouldn’t have to finish if she graduates.
Ambria searched for something to say. Emily interjected with a story about the keyboarding award she got in the 8th grade: most improved keyboardist.
Ambria told her they practiced yesterday and have a bout in Yakima on Saturday. Emily asked how practice was. Ambria said it ended early because people were having attitude problems. Emily said she hopes they will have adjusted their attitudes. Ambria told her it was really hot in the rink. Emily asked if she will get to jam. Ambria said maybe. Emily asked and they discussed how the jammer is picked.
Emily asked if she still has to take a later bus to get home. Ambria said they didn’t today. Emily asked if she has to change buses. Ambria said they don’t and it takes about 10 minutes. Emily told her not to forget to take photos or videos tonight. Ambria said she’s sure Nana and Poppy will take lots of pictures.
Ambria said she’s nervous about it. Emily told her not to be nervous. Ambria told her there are going to be 3,000 people there. Emily asked how many people are graduating. Ambria told her 300. Emily told her she’ll be fine. Ambria said she thinks it will work out.
Emily asked how she’s going to wear her hair. Ambria hasn’t decided. Emily asked what time it starts. Ambria said at 6. Emily said she has 2.5 hours then. Emily said she might cry if she thinks about it more.
