At about 2:55pm, I messaged Emily on Skype to let her know Ambria would be late to call. She has to ride the bus to get home to our new apartment, and the first bus was full. I told her Ambria would call as soon as she gets home.
Ambria got home and called at June 5, 2019 3:11 PM. Skype said Emily was unavailable. Ambria retried and got her to answer.
Emily spent some time getting her volume up so she could hear Ambria. Emily asked about the bus and Ambria explained it was full. Emily asked if it’s always that way. Ambria said it wasn’t. Ambria talked about the new apartment and took Emily on a tour using Skype.
Ambria told her about finishing the math test. Emily asked if that was it. Ambria said yes for the state tests but she has an algebra final next week. She said it’s 3 days. Emily said she hopes it won’t be too bad.
Ambria asked how Reda is. Emily asked if Ambria’s going to volunteer tonight. Ambria said she is. Emily asked how long it takes to get to school via bus. Ambria said she didn’t know. Emily asked if it’s at least 20 minutes. Ambria said it’s longer than walking from the old place but it’s still not too long.
Emily asked if Ambria bought the desk in her room. Ambria told her we bought it when we moved into the last apartment.
Emily asked about her upcoming derby bout in Canada. Ambria said she would need to change her call time for it and change the call time permanently on Wednesday.
Emily asked something about school. Ambria told her she needs to finish a study guide. Emily asked about a project but didn’t seem to know any details about it. Ambria guessed she was talking about their music video project and told her about it.
Emily said her hair is getting long. Emily asked about cutting it. Ambria said she already got it cut.
Emily asked about her glasses, whether they were the new or old ones. Ambria said they’re new.
Ambria said she needed to go. Emily confirmed the new Wednesday call time of 3:15. Ambria said she would have to tell her later the new time for this Saturday. They ended the call at June 5, 2019 3:23 PM.
