Ambria called Emily. It range for about a minute. Skype said she was unavailable. Ambria tried her again at 2:59 PM with the same result. Emily called her back at 3:01 PM. Emily asked if she’s had school this week. Ambria said no. Emily asked if she will have school tomorrow. Ambria said she doesn’t know. Ambria said the roads and still icy. Emily asked what she’s been doing. Ambria said she’s been reading, playing video games, and going to the gym. Emily asked if she’s keeping strength up for volleyball. Ambria laughed. Emily asked about the Splatoon picture Ambria put on her art sharing site. Ambria told her she drew it looking at the original. Emily said it was really good. Ambria asked if she showed Reda. Emily said not yet. Ambria said she also posted one of a barn and thought she had posted another one. Emily said there was the Splatoon picture, the barn, and a rainbow one. Emily asked if the barn was copied. Ambria said no. Emily asked about the books she’s reading. Ambria said she read a book about a gymnast trying to make the olympics. Ambria told her she met some friends at the school and they sledded. Emily asked how it went. Ambria said she had to crawl up the hills because her boots don’t have good tread. Ambria told her about sliding down the stairs which had become a ramp due to the snow. Ambria asked if her mom had a Switch or a WiiU. Emily asked why. Ambria said she should play Splatoon. They talked about the relative merits of the Switch and WiiU. Emily asked if the game is multiplayer. Ambria told her about the various play modes. Emily asked if she had any more Splatfests (although she didn’t recall the name). Ambria said they don’t have them that often and that her team won. She got 9 sea snails by hitting the 3rd rank. Emily said that was neat and sounded like something she might enjoy. Ambria told her to watch videos of it. Emily asked what to search for. Ambria told her to search for Splatoon 2 turf war. Emily said she would do that to understand what Ambria’s talking about. Ambria told her she’s also been playing Mario Kart. Emily said she hasn’t played this one but likes the game in general. Emily said it’s very relaxing. Ambria told her she got 1st place in all her races today. Emily asked how. Ambria said she wasn’t sure. Emily asked about any food she’s made. Ambria said she will make pretzels for the hot dogs if she’s off tomorrow. Emily said they’re very filling. Ambria said she likes them better. Emily said Panda’s skin issue is back so she will have to change her food again. Ambria asked about the cat. Emily said it’s good and it has a straw. She said she took her for a car ride. Emily said she didn’t really enjoy it. She wasn’t very relaxed because it was dark. Ambria asked Emily to tell Reda hello and that she wanted to go. Emily said she hopes she enjoys her time off.
