Ambria called Emily. Emily asked how her morning is. Ambria said good. Emily asked about school. Ambria told her they were out several days for snow. Emily asked if we got a lot. Ambria showed her. Emily asked if she thinks she will go to school on Monday. Ambria said probably not and that it was supposed to snow all week next week too. Emily said she might get a break. Ambria said yes, and that she has mid-winter break the week after. Emily asked about breakfast. Ambria told her what she had. Emily asked what brandy of veggie bacon she eats. Emily guessed Morningstar, and Ambria said she thinks so. Emily said she had tried to get into it and thinks she just doesn’t like bacon. She said it was a problem and Ambria agreed. Emily talked about some vegan foods she has had recently. Ambria told her the Splatfest started yesterday at 8pm on Splatoon 2 and that she started playing a bit. She said she thinks there are more people on team waffle than pancake. Emily asked if that was a good thing. Ambria said she isn’t sure. She thinks it might be a problem getting matches. Emily asked if Ambria likes the blanket she is wearing. Emily said it was in the 70s earlier this week but it’s now in the 30s. She said she almost got out her bathing suit. Emily said it was nice and that she enjoys the warmer weather. Emily asked if we get a lot of snow here. Ambria said no and that she didn’t use any snow days last year. Emily said she thought it was rare here. She hasn’t gotten much snow this year. There was some in Johnson City and Knoxville but none there. Emily told her what the pets are doing. They joked about the pets thinking they own all the things. They talked about cats climbing under doors. Ambria told a story about her dollhouse at Reda’s house that Panda came in through the door. Emily asked if cats are her favorite animal. Emily asked what she did in PE on Friday. Ambria told her she played more volleyball. Emily said she has a fear of volleyball “engrained inside her soul.” Ambria said it’s pretty fun. Emily told why and then told a story about playing softball. She said she’s not good at any sport. They aren’t her calling. Emily asked if Ambria thinks they are her calling. Emily pointed out roller derby and skateboarding. Emily asked about practice during the snow. Ambria said they weren’t canceled. Emily asked if it’s hard to navigate with the snow. Ambria said she didn’t know. She hasn’t been out since late yesterday. They talked about ice skating. Ambria said she wanted to go. They ended the call at 9:10am.
