Ambria called Emily. She asked what Ambria’s doing. Ambria said she just got home. Emily asked what she did at school. Ambria said they only had 3.5 hours of school today. Emily asked why. Ambria explained the snow situation and told that she had missed 2 days of school and gone in late today. She said there’s supposed to be more at the end of the week. Emily asked how much snow we got. Ambria said about an inch. Emily asked if she still had to walk to school. Ambria said she did. Emily asked if she wore her boots. Ambria said no and that most of the snow was clear. Emily said she got the letter about what we saw at the high school. She said there was a lot of information there. Ambria said she did that tour a couple of weeks ago. Emily recited the things Ambria said she wanted to do. Ambria said she was correct. Emily asked what she likes about drama. Ambria said she wants to be in a play. Emily asked if speaking will make her nervous. Ambria said kinda. Emily said the only way to get over it is to do something. Emily asked if she wanted to be in ceramics. Ambria said yes. Ambria said it’s supposed to be clay stuff. Emily said probably. Emily asked if you would then paint and heat it. Ambria said probably. Emily asked if Ambria made the pretzels she’s eating. Ambria said yes. Emily asked how. Ambria said she found the recipe and recounted the steps. Emily said it looks good. Ambria wasn’t finished, so she kept telling the recipe. Emily asked if she eats them plain. Ambria said eats them with mustard. Emily asked why not ketchup or sour cream. Ambria said sour cream is good and then corrected herself to cream cheese. Emily gave an update on what the pets are doing. Emily asked what else she did. Ambria said she played Splatoon because there’s going to be a Splatfest this weekend. Emily asked what that is. Ambria explained it. Emily asked if she’s going to do it all Saturday. Ambria said she’ll try to. Emily said she sounded pretty productive. Emily asked if she made any snow sculptures. Ambria said it didn’t pack well but she played in it anyway. Ambria told her she got her first video project in media literacy. It’s called a day in the life. They take pictures of what they do throughout the day and make a slideshow. She starts with the first thing she sees in the morning and goes throughout the day. Ambria said she’ll take pictures at practice. Emily asked about night and homework. Ambria said yes and dinner. Emily asked about pajamas and hair stuff. Ambria agreed. Ambria told her about the scrimmage and said Andy said she did well. Emily asked who that is. Ambria said it’s her coach. Emily asked what she did that was good. Ambria said she hit people out. Emily asked if there are boys on the team. Ambria said 2. Ambria said bye to Reda and that she wanted to go. They ended the call at 3:09pm.
