Ambria called Emily. Emily asked what she did on her day off. Ambria told her she went to the gym and she’s been tidying. Emily said it was supposed to snow but didn’t. She said it got down to 19 today. Ambria told her its in the 40s. Emily commented on her bun and asked if she wears it all the time. Ambria said yes. Ambria asked if Emily remembered the art site where she shows her work. Emily said she does. Ambria told her she added some art to it. Ambria told her the semester ended yesterday. Emily asked about her electives tomorrow. Ambria said she has media literacy and PE. Emily made a sound of disgust. Ambria said she might get a PE waiver. Emily asked what that would mean. Ambria said she won’t have to take it this semester. Ambria said she’s not sure if she’ll get a waiver or not. Emily advised her not to play volleyball if she takes it. Emily asked if they have a track team. Emily said not to try out or someone will take her shoes. Emily said she could not be like her at all and have “good fortune” in PE. Ambria said it was fine last year. Emily said maybe that will continue. Emily asked what she has to wear for PE. Ambria said they don’t care about pants as long as they’re not jeans. She said you have to wear a special shirt. They talked over each other a little bit, Ambria telling her she wasn’t sure why they have to wear the shirt. Ambria said she thinks media literacy is about video production and photo editing plus service announcements. Emily asked if she gets to make announcements to the school. Ambria said ASB does that. Ambria said she only knows one person so far that’s in one of her classes. Emily asked if it’s projects on the computer, “how to do certain types of media.” Ambria said she’s seen people making videos for it. Ambria said she re-organized her closet and drawers. Emily asked about that. Ambria gave her some detail. Emily said some people roll up pants and shirts, but that’s not her. Ambria asked about the show Tidying Up on Netflix. Emily said it was a bit intense. Ambria said that’s where she got the idea. Emily said she didn’t realize she didn’t speak English. She said she spent more time reading the captions than watching the show. Emily asked if she watched the one with the older couple. Ambria said we’ve watched pretty far. Emily asked if Ambria enjoys it. Ambria said she does. Emily said she enjoys it because it’s a documentary. She’s been watching more of those. Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she still has no movement in the bad arm. Swallowing is like it was. Emily said she’s really worried about it. Ambria asked Emily to tell her hello. Emily asked if Ambria can hear her better. Ambria said she can. Emily doesn’t know why. Emily wanted to reiterate that she got her postcard and they said it was damaged. She wasn’t sure what was wrong with it. She could still read it. She told Ambria something about the dog. Ambria said she wanted to go. Emily started asking if Ambria has anything planned. Ambria said “Nope.” Emily started wishing her well for the new semester and finally let her go at 3:09pm.
