Ambria called Emily. Emily asked what she’s doing. Ambria said she just had breakfast. Emily asked what. Ambria said oatmeal with raisins and toast. Emily asked if she’s ready for the house cup. Ambria said she’s a little nervous. Emily asked what they have to do to get ready. Ambria told her they pick up different shirts for the bout. Emily asked what’s different. Ambria said it’s Harry Potter themed, and they don’t know which team they’re on. Ambria told her all the teams that were possible. Emily said that was “very interesting.” Ambria said there are different spells which are special moves that give extra points. Emily said it sounded like a lot of fun. Emily asked if they have practiced it. Ambria said no. They had a normal practice on Thursday and did a lot of hitting drills. Emily said she was going to tell her something but can’t recall what it is. Emily asked about her retainer and if she has tried retracing her steps. Ambria said she looked in her laundry, in all her bags. They started walking through her arrival at Emily’s house. Emily asked if she remembered taking it out then. Ambria said yes but she doesn’t know where she put it. Emily said she thinks it’s probably “there but in some weird location.” Ambria asked if she’s looked on the floor, and Emily said she had. Emily asked about Thursday and Friday at school. Ambria said she had made some more progress on her math project. Emily asked what she’s learning. Ambria said that, if you buy something expensive, the interest can add up to a lot of money. Emily agreed. She said it sounds really detailed. She asked if it’s due soon. Ambria said it’s due on Tuesday. Emily didn’t hear her and asked again. Ambria told her it’s done on Tuesday. Emily asked if the tables aren’t too extensive for that. Ambria described it to her. Emily asked if it’s regular lives or movie star lives. Ambria said some people are doing regular lives but most people are not. Ambria asked about Reda. Emily said she’s doing “pretty good.” She gave her a mug with a picture of Ambria and Reda. She said she liked that but hasn’t used it. It can’t go in the dishwasher. She said Reda probably won’t use it much. Ambria told her about the math final. Emily asked what that is. Ambria said it covers everything they’ve learned this semester. She’s going to start studying for it soon. Emily asked what time the bout starts. Ambria said she’s not sure but it’s this evening. Ambria said she thinks the first bout starts at 5. Emily tried to ask the name of her team but didn’t get it out. The connection started having problems. She recovered after about 15 seconds and asked again. Ambria told her it’s the Alliance. Emily told her the pets are doing well. Ambria said she wanted to go to take a shower. They ended the call at 9:08 AM.
